If only someone from another company that has experience in 3D graphics with OpenGL/Vulkan, like Feral, would join unity. Someone like that could pick up such a list and push a little. Oh wait ..... :P
The amount of Linux users on Steam has increased when going by daily active users

From 225k to 231k is 2.7%. Considering that one of the numbers comes from the Steam surveys, I don't think this is statistically significant (and no, I will not do the math :P ). I still think it is approximately stable over the past two years with maybe a slight growth. That probably means that most Linux users that will accept Steam as a gaming platform are using it now and that current growth is more based on "new" Linux users. This growth is likely much slower than that of the Steam platform itself.

I was wondering how this would play without visible people. I'd like to have a look as well.

Congratulations on the 9 years of GoL! My only regret is that I missed almost 7 years of it.
And turning 30, it seems like ages ago for me. Oh wait, it WAS ages ago! :D Don't worry about worrying about 30. Before you know it, you'll be worrying about 40. :P

Quoting: cprnI can agree as long as fairy stable means growing slowly but otherwise I just can't believe it.Could very well be possible. I don't think the data is accurate enough to clearly show something like 10% growth of Linux users over that period of time.

Quoting: aFoxNamedMorrisWouldn't that mean roughly 19,500 new Steam users on Linux per month? That's no small number. Not necessarily. Back when Steam had about 125 million users, about 1% was on Linux. Now it must be going to about 200 million with 0.52% on Linux. Accounting for some statistical variation, that is about the same. Seems to me that Steam Linux users are fairly stable at just above a million.

Played it for three hours now. At first some of the enemies appear quite brutal and unfair, but it helps to understand the moves and get the right gear. The progression of weapons and your own skill are quite nicely balanced. Sometimes you do get a bit unlucky on the weapons and you really don't have much of a chance. Like the first boss I encountered. First time I could barely damage it, second time I had a much better weapons and didn't have too much trouble with it. Excellent game!
