The settings screen puts a grin on your face too. Graphical settings: good, bad, ugly. Color blind mode. :D

The game is worth buying for the game too though! I've had a blast with it.

More on topic for the article. The percentage Linux users has dropped quite a bit over the last couple of years. It used to be over 5% iirc. I think offering it on Steam has brought in proportionally more Windows and Mac users.

Since steam now filters the "new releases" for Linux, I tend to miss Windows only releases. So I doubt there is an easy solution to find demand. I suspect Valve would be the party best able to estimate demand for a certain game since they have all the store data.
