Quoting: subWill it feature a single-player campaign?
Or is it a pure sandbox game?
They've been steadily building the features needed for scenarios. I don't know if that means they'll add a full campaign before the actual release though.

After some thought, I'd have to go with Vampyr. For no other reason than that it appears to be my type of game.

Since Feral has worked with Dontnod before, it is not impossible. It would be a different project for Feral though. Vampyr is a UE4 game and it's not so much porting the game, as it is dealing with all the problems that may occur while building and running it on Linux. Mac should be easier since the Metal implementation of UE4 appears to be reasonably solid.

Powerless is quite possibly one of the worst FPS games I've ever played

"oh no". That was what I thought when I saw this game pass by a while ago. Apparently a correct judgement.

Quoting: ValckAny insights into why GoG would deny a request to sell the game?
Especially since this is probably the most polished game Zachtronics has done to date. My only reasonable guess would be that they tried to get it approved during the early access period and that gog only wanted to approve it after the final release.

Quoting: KimyrielleAre there any decent (and free) asset libraries for this engine out there? I can code well enough, but I am artistically challenged.
As someone completely void of any artistic ability, I've found that even asset libraries can't help me. :D

So back in the 90s they managed to show the ground with angled surfaces so that the game wouldn't look so blocky. Yay for 25 years of progress?

Quoting: ElectricPrismIn many cultures it's common to find outright prejudice against nudity while completely accepting deplorable acts of graphic violence.
From the Southpark movie: "Remember what the MPAA says; Horrific, Deplorable violence is okay, as long as people don't say any naughty words!". It's a bit sad that 20 years changed nothing.

I've always found the CryEngine choice a bit worrisome for a potential Linux release. It made me view this one as an "I'll see what happens" game.

Quoting: GuestOn Wikipedia's Vulkan Games article I read that there is a Vulkan Version in development. Is this true for Linux as well?
I never tried, but it if the Unity version is high enough, a "-force-vulkan" could work.
