With regard to GTA5, last thing I saw was that it was mostly functional with the DX10 option. Not there has been much improvement on that lately.

Quoting: GuestHonestly I feel a little guilty that I haven't donated for the Wine project yet. It's never too late to alleviate your guilt by spending some money. :P
Quoting: 1xokDoes this mean full DX11 support? For example: Could I play then GTA V in DX11 mode?Don't get your hopes up. First of all, working does not necessarily mean working fast. But I imagine there will still be plenty of missing features that are vital for some games. I think you should take it to mean that DX11 is along far enough to run some of the games properly.

What is interesting is that they said today that it will be Vulkan only. So no OpenGL support at all, which will be a first.

Quoting: wleoncioEdwin released a package to enable Force Feedback on the Linux version of ETS2 (and ATS, I think). It worked well on my Ubuntu LTS machine, but only after some heavy tinkering with the Makefile. You can find the package and related discussion here:It has some stability issues though. But I haven't been able to figure out what it is yet. It's not easily reproducible.

Quoting: BeamboomIt may well be that Bloober Team did everything in house and Aspyr is just the publisher on this one.Quoting: ShmerlIt's kind of strange though, that developers needed a porting company for UE based game.It may not have been a large job to port, but maybe the devs simply did not know Linux whatsoever so they played it safe. And that's totally cool imo.

Typical Zachtronics game. I went to play for an hour. Five hours later .... oops.
The game is fun. Although it feels more like a combination of previous elements than something ground breaking. But I've not quite made it to the brain torture yet. :D

I personally abuse PlayOnLinux to install various wine versions if I feel like testing something. I don't generally use the install scripts though.

Steam sale dates are not exactly random. So hiding them at all is pointless to begin with.

Quoting: tuubiI never really notice them. Ads are parts of racing, so it feels natural.Quoting: GuestI’d buy Dirt Rally if it wasn’t full of ingame ads.Unlike all the other licenced sports games? Sponsor ads are sadly part of the experience.
I hate ads but Dirt Rally is totally worth it. You won't have time to look at the ads. You'll be too busy crashing into them and losing a wheel or two.

Obviously Feral has not discussed their contracts with the publisher handles the split of income. But that should not differ between the Feral store on any other stores. The only real difference is that purchases from the Feral store aren't subject to the 30% cut from Steam.

Quoting: ZlopezI want to buy a Dawn of War III, but I don't know if Feral get anything from the sold copy if I buy it on Steam.Steam determines the platform by the most hours played in the first 7 days. If the game was not played during that time, the platform of purchase counts. If the platform is Linux (or Mac), Feral gets their cut.
Does anyone know if they are getting they share? If not I will rather wait till the sale will be in the Feral store.
