Somehow I don't think money is the biggest problem here. I suspect there are plenty of developers/publishers that prefer not to share their code with an external porter for a small gain in sales.

Also, mainland Europe gets shafted a bit. 600 USD is 509 EUR. Even adding VAT would bring it just over 600 EUR.

My first purchase on Steam included a Klei game (Shank 2). They're usually pretty good games.

Since I'm now well into chapter 3, I dared reading the review. I'm also loving everything about this game so far. I hope the next book won't take too long though because I expect to finish the first one this weekend.

The reviews are a bit worrying because they are mostly about gameplay problems. And the price is a bit high to just give it a go.

F1 2017 could be on the way to Linux, as Feral Interactive want to see demand for it

Quoting: DuncI'm a huge fan of both driving games and F1, but the last F1 game I really got into was Geoff Crammond's original F1GP on the Amiga. And that was only because it was all there was.
The last F1 game I owned was Microprose Grand Prix 2 (1995) also designed by Geoff Crammond. I sucked at it way back in those days as well.

I suppose F1 2015 was a bit of rotten luck. It was released for Linux fairly late (only a couple of months before the 2016 one). By then it was well established that it was one of the weakest games in the series. Combined with F1 racers being a bit of a niche of its own, it's easy to understand that things didn't go exactly well there.

As for F1 2017. Accurate racing is not really for me. Something do with... What's it called? ... Oh yeah, patience. But throw in Bioshock (which is in my library already) and I'll get it on general principle. :P
