From the Steam reviews, it sounds like a game with the wrong difficulty for me. So I'll probably give this a miss. Maybe something for Samsai with his speedrunner finger. :P
Editorial: On paying for Linux games when you already have a Windows version

I think you missed one aspect of the problem. With some porters being paid from the platform sales, there is the whole issues of "windows keys" on separate key stores. The whole separation may simply be a result of not losing a large portion of their income to key resellers that won't register the intended platform.
There is one issue I'm not too happy about though. The sales price would generally be a split between the original developer (for the rights to the content) and the porter (for the work on the Linux port). If you already have the Windows version and you buy the Linux version again, you'd basically be paying more than just the port. Looking at that, it would probably be fair to add a "DLC" fee for the right to the port. I suppose it's too complex to bother with for a 4 Euro game.
For me it would never be a problem though either way, since I only buy Linux stuff anyway.

Was it actually confirmed to have a Linux version on day one?
I will be needing this though. I never played the original of this one.

I played the first chapter and it did not disappoint. Everything that a point and click adventure should be. I did leave the second chapter till it was close to the release of the third. It appears the time has come to do all three now.

I have the alpha (got it when they actually made clear that they would be doing the entire alpha on all platforms, not Linux as an afterthought), so I'll have a good look next week.
I never had any problems with the game though. Besides the usual Unity issues (failing to start when certain hardware is plugged in or certain programs are running).

Quoting: saildataJust wait until you start adding stuff. Soon you'll find it grew to 500 GB. I spoke to streamer that rendered large parts of the EU and US in photo scenery and accumulated over 10 TB. It can get a little crazy.Quoting: mrdeathjrI dont like flight simulators however this x-plane 11 is very heavy, remember ask huge hard drive spaceIt's a good one. The community assets available are unlimited - people spend so much time modding that game. You're right -- it is a big install even with just the US/Europe maps (37 GB)
^_^

Ehm. Half Life 2 ep 1 and ep 2 because Liam knows he will be streaming those soon. :P Also Hitman because it's just to cool to find all the ways that I can get killed. Wait, that's not how the game works?
