Wow great! I was waiting to play this, I have tried the GOG demo but found it too laggy, I hope they update that one too so that I can see if it is worth buying now. Great!

I just bought Europa Universalis IV for 10 euros at their awesome Valentine's Sale (which wasn't even advertised here as far as I've seen?) and I am just getting into it. Feels like a typical "mega nerd dad game" that will just devour my nocturnal life, so Paradox, expect me to buy some DLC real soon!

Quoting: MetallinatusI'm 3 hours in and I didn't need sticks for anything, it's just a basic "Dpad + face buttons" game....
That is great news! Then this game is MINE! :D It's my birthday soon, that's why....

Edit: Impressive! I can confirm that my iBuffalo SNES controller worked out of the box, I did not even have to remap anything (this is the gog-version). Awesome.
Does it work with A as "confirm" button and B as "back" button out of the box? If it does, really impressive, if it doesn't, then I recommend checking the button remapping screen. I got satisfyingly surprised when I saw I could remap that....
Yeah, that was what was impressive - I immediately went into remapping since I assumed it would be wrong, but then I realized that it was correct from the get go. Cool. It works perfectly otherwise too, great game!

I would buy it yesterday, but on videos it looks like you would need a twin-stick controller to play, not a SNES-style one like the one I use. Is that right?
