Quoting: ShmerlSomehow no one can answer this. Can you check please, is the update 64-bit or not? That's what it says for my Steam version too.
That's what I see for my current GOG version:
file 'Shadow Tactics'
Shadow Tactics: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2, for GNU/Linux 2.6.24, BuildID[sha1]=8a178e29a711fa53a4b8b04236b6e40dd406b910, stripped

Quoting: Purple Library GuyHmmm . . . maybe I'll play offline until I'm finished my current playthrough. No update problems if it can't update. You can also pin Paradox games to specific major release versions in Steam (right-click it, select properties, then look under the Betas tab and select version 1.9.1 from the drop-down box). I'm sure the Paradox launcher has the same functionality, I've just never used it.

I run it off an SSD so loading times were already just a few seconds for me, but quick-loading is even faster now. Like, less than a second. Loading a level for the first time still takes ~10 seconds or so, but the new progress bar feature that shows how it's going is rather nice. :)

I'm getting a real "Gang Beasts with candy" vibe from this one. :)
Can you hear that? It's the Steam sales train and it's arrived, also Steam Wishlist revamp

I wonder if the new filtering-by-OS ability and showing the supported platforms clearly on the wishlist is another careful bump towards a future SteamOS push.
Stellaris: Apocalypse is due soon & there's a new overview video up, also a note about Linux sales

You can also feel free to skip some of the DLCs if they don't improve a region you plan to be playing in, as EU IV ones are sometimes more focused on regions than universal like Stellaris ones are. Conquest of Paradise, for instance, focuses mainly on North and South American natives (but not Mesoamerica or the Incas, that's El Dorado), and could probably be safely skipped unless you want to try playing as one. (Or are like me, and just need the satisfaction of knowing that the simulation everywhere in the world is the best it can possibly be, even if I'm playing in India and will never get to the New World. :D )

Quoting: SharkMachineHere's the problem though: The normal price for complete Europa Universalis IV pack is nearly 300€. For this reason alone, I've been holding off buying the game. I think the maximum should be around 100€ to get the game and existing DLCs.Well, you're in luck at the moment, there's a 50–75%-off sale right now on absolutely everything EU IV related (as far as I can tell). :) Should be able to get the base game and all gameplay DLCs for <100€ I'd imagine.

Quoting: Eike*edit* I found something not too obvious: There's a rank number at the lower left of every item - and you can just change it!Oh neat, thanks for sharing that. Though it seems slightly buggy for me, I bought my #2 item War of the Chosen on sale yesterday and now my wishlist goes 1, 3, 4,… :)
Quoting: EikeThanks for the image, I definitely don't have that little hamburger icon showing up for me either.Quoting: riusmaI don't have any hamburger with arrows (just "TOP" at the top left and the "rank order box" at the bottom left)... :'(This is what it looks like here:
Nevermind, I will take another look at that later! :)

Quoting: KimyrielleJust bought three DLC packs I didn't yet have, too. Just because.I'm picking up the Humanoid Species Pack which I wasn't interested in at all previously just because, too. And pre-ordering Apocalypse. (If they'll let me; I'm getting a message saying “We're currently unable to process any payments from your region.”) :(
Have you played HyperRogue? A non-Euclidean roguelike that combines a free and paid model

Fascinating concept for a game, though unfortunately I'm just not that interested in roguelikes. I would definitely love to see more games experimenting with mathematics like this though! Games are, in my opinion, in some ways the best vehicles for learning things intuitively that we have, and computers are really good at math, so mixing the two in new and innovative ways sounds fantastic! :woot:
