Is this *by* the studio that made Goat Simulator, or was that just a comparison? I couldn't tell.
Fake edit: I looked it up on Steam, and it's a different studio, MAD Sprouts.
I like the premise, I think you could get a lot of story mileage (and a bunch of games) out of the tension between animals and humans moving into their territory, as seen from the animal perspective.

Quoting: DeathByDenimHmm, looks interesting, but the demo doesn't run on Ubuntu 20.04.Yeah, I'm getting the same error (unsurprisingly) on Debian 10. I couldn't even get it running with Proton.
./RogueStateRevolution.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by ./RogueStateRevolution.x86_64)
I think Ubuntu 20.04 is only on 2.31.

But again, IANAL, and don't take this as legal advice! It may very well be protected in some other fashion that I'm not aware of.
On another note, what engine is the game in? Or is it something home-made?

Quoting: GoboFrom the first first search result [External Link] for "usb logo" on Google:Now, the standard I Am Not A Lawyer disclaimer applies, but the link, which leads to a document called "USB Logo Usage Guidelines", looks like a guideline for companies who want to use the USB logo correctly, i.e., companies making USB equipment who want to correctly put the USB logo on it. The "you may not imitate the USB Logo(s)" bit, in context, seems to me to be saying "You must exactly reproduce the logos as shown here if you want to use them at all, without deviating from them in any way", rather a blanket pronouncement that the the USB logo cannot be imitated by someone explicitly not claiming to to USB-affiliated in any way.
You must use the logos exactly as they are shown in the USB-IF digital artwork files; you may not imitate the USB Logo(s), the SuperSpeed USB Logo(s), the SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps Logo(s), the USB Type-CTM Charging Trident Logo(s), the Certified USB Charger Logo(s), or the Certified USB Fast Charger Logo(s) in any of your materials.
You may not combine the USB Logo(s), the SuperSpeed USB Logo(s), the SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps Logo( s), the USB Type-CTM Charging Trident Logo(s),the Certified USB Charger Logo(s), or the Certified USB Fast Charger Logo(s) with any other feature, including other marks, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, or symbols.
But again, IANAL, and don't take this as legal advice! It may very well be protected in some other fashion that I'm not aware of.

Quoting: JSVRamirezWell I say, the English language has stolen enough words from Latin over the centuries, we can certainly afford to donate a few back. Have "Internetus" free on us, Latin!Quoting: junibegood<snip>Whyever not? Surely it is the same for any other language as new words are created? You could say 'secum communicandi' instead of Internet, but most other languages just used the word, "Internet," anyway. Perhaps, in the realms of openTTD 'celeriter iter sinum currus' might be used to describe a mass-transit highway, if you didn't just want to keep 'motorway' or 'highway'
[off topic]Is it even possible to talk about modern transport vehicules and infrastructure in latin ? :dizzy:

Quoting: KorhakaAs someone who currently works in a computer repair shop in the UK this does sound interesting. Wonder if I could encourage my manager into getting a bunch of parts for these in stock so we could build laptops to order for customers while they wait - that could be pretty cool if it works out. Would want to see the hardware for myself once it comes out first though.Sounds like a great marketing concept (to a certain class of people): "Come in and build your own computer from our vast selection of parts!"

I remember buying a Blender plugin back in 2016 or 2017 that did something similar, though it was originally intended for taking Minecraft images (of items) and making them into 3D models, so it just created things at a uniform thickness. Was still quite useful for creating items to use in thumbnails and such. I think it was called "Minecraft Item Creator", though I've no idea if it's still around.

Quoting: TheRiddickThis is one of those games that could do with a full VR update, one that lets you manipulate objects with your hands.I feel like it might make more sense to design a new game based around that premise…but hey, we had Half Life: Alyx, who knows if Portal: Doug [External Link] (or whatever) will be next?

Quoting: The_Aquabatwell how much is the temperature in Mars? I bet it's far different from the standard powerpc cpu u can grab from a shop shelf.According to data from Curiosity taken in Gale Crater from 2012–2015, on a nice warm day in the middle of Martian summer the temperature might get up to a toasty 0° C (32 °F), while during the winter it falls to an average of −88 °C (–126 °F). The record high and low temperatures during that time were 20 °C (68 °F) and −127 °C (−197 °F).

I'm trying to figure out what the "intro videos to act 2 and 3" that weren't playing are. I've played through the game several time (including on Windows, which I was still using when it released), though not for a few years and I can't remember any particular videos around those points. Anyone know what that's referring to?
