I stopped using in home streaming all together because so many games just cast audio and a black screen, hopefully this will solve the issue :D

This is the only real complaint my kids have with running Linux, so that would be lovely indeed.

Well that or Fortnite not being 'trendy' anymore ;)

Seems like a missed opportunity to no support ring buffer mode, so you can save the last 30s when you manage to do something cool. I for one don't usually know when that will happen ahead of time ;)

Quoting: Guppyfingers crossed that they solved the pluseaudio - hdmi issue, "pulseaudio -k" is by a very wide margin the most run command on my 20.1 system these days >_>
What does that issue do? (wondering if this might be relevant to a problem I've been having)
It drops the HDMI output - usually on boot or after some time with no sound output on the device.
You have to restart pulseaudio to get it back - which ofc messed with any programs using sound input/output - chrome and teams gets so lost you have to restart those aswell.

NVIDIA update their NVAPI open source interface helping "Windows emulation environments"

Quoting: TheSHEEEPIt is really interesting to me how much work and money goes into this.
This cannot all be just for the few percent of gamers using Linux.
Companies tends to not like other companies monopolies - so if they can spend what amounts to lunch money and upset Microsofts de-facto monopoly on gaming operative systems a bit, of course they will.

If you can't see why imagine this scenario ( better believe the big wigs at Nvidia has ) - Microsoft introduces a new verified "hardware badge" only hardware with this badge will have full acceleration in DX, and ofcourse the this verification can only be performed by Microsoft and is not cheap - 20% worked for apple/google so why not.

Concidering that Hasbro turned down Stonemaier games, I'm impressed that such a low budget studio managed to get a MLP license
