+1 for Pingus; it's a pretty close clone of Lemmings, with little penguins, of course.

Morrowind using OpenMW, which I was surprised to see is in the Ubuntu repos. I'd forgotten just how good it is, even with the "primitive" graphics.

Quoting: jnriversMmmm... I'm getting a boner thinking about this patch. Such a great game.
Can't quite say that, but it's certainly something to look forward to; the game is very good, and this patch might just make it great.

GAK! Another game I bought for Windows shows up in my library!

I had a ton of fun playing it on Windows, and a ton of fun playing it on Steam for Windows installed with PlayOnLinux. Now I'm going to have a bigger ton o' fun playing it natively, thanx to Feral!

I bought DOWII several years ago :S: , and, yes, it plays beautifully on Steam for Windows installed with PlayOnLinux. Nonetheless, and though it will never ever count as a Linux sale, I'll still be chuffed to play it natively :D .

And to think that I once considered Aspyr to be the main Linux porter; C:BE has some severe Linux problems, judging from the Steam forums. Feral has hit several out of the park.

The Steam Hardware Survey for August 2016 shows Linux has grown again

Once upon a time (the 80s), MS-DOS was seen as the serious, business-oriented OS, and Macs were the artistic, game-oriented PCs. Over time, Macs became serious office machines, and Micro$oft developed DirectX, making Windows PCs the choice for gamers. Along with Windows PCs, Linux users are able to upgrade their desktops, something that Mac users just can't easily do. Macs are simply not built for gaming, and it might be instructive to watch the Steam Mac percentage drip, drip, drip away, even though they've got a boatload more Steam games than we currently have.
