Hmmmm...I already have Painkiller:Hell and Damnation, which treads similar ground. I suck at it, too. That doesn't make my own breathing rate faster;).
The Linux Port Of Age Of Wonders III Is Progressing, A Bit Too Explosive Right Now

I will say that the AOW 3 devs have been (according to them) working pretty hard to have a bug-free Linux release. I LOL about the Michael Bay comment when I read it on Steam.
STAR WARS: DARK FORCES, Now On Linux Thanks To GOG

Purchasing NWN Diamond  from GOG and installing the Linux client is much harder than installing it from the DVD (I've done both). It would be terrific if GOG would make the Linux-client NWN available, either as the usual tar.gz file or as a .deb (Red Hat derivative users can use alias the same way Debian derivative users do). It would make one of the very first (if not the first) commercial games to support Linux easily installable by we (superior OS :D ) Linux users.
Also, any DOS game (for Windows, OSX, or Linux) sold by GOG does use DOSBox...

Quoting: DrMcCoyAlso, this means there's now an easy DRM-free source for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords [External Link], in case people want to get it to help with xoreos [External Link]. *hinthint* :P*hinthint* indeed! Neverwinter Nights (I clicked on the link, you sneaky devil) has had a native Linux client since 2003(!), and a client that still works (try that with a game written for WinXP without some serious tweaking under Win7 or (God help us) Win8.)

Aspyr Media Are Close To Breaking Even On Linux Ports

It is wonderful that Aspyr still has the spirit and moxie to keep at it for our sakes. I will buy (for gifting, probably) the several games I had already bought in my  dual-boot days; X-COM, Bioshock:Infinite, and now Empire:Total War, all of which I bought some time before Steam for Linux was introduced :P. I hope I can afford them :S: , but, eventually, I'll repurchase them. I did buy native Tropico 5, at least  ...

It is one eyecandy-type of game; i.e., it looks great (I've seen it on Xbox). Not my cuppa tea, but platform lovers will adore it.
Pillars Of Eternity, The RPG Aims For A Same-day Linux Release On March 26th

I backed this on Kickstarter, and am quite happy to have waited for release (after 2 years!), if it means that I'll get the game in very finished form.
Yes, people do have problems with Obsidian, but their earlier games were published by companies who were more interested in getting the games to market before they were quite ready. Paradox, the German publisher/distributor, is a pretty damn good choice for distribution, given their high Linux support (EU IV was released last summer with Windows, Mac and Linux versions on the same day), and Paradox has nothing to do with development, and Obsidian has nothing to do with distribution.
That seems like a pretty good way to go about it.
Also, I have an updated, more appropriate avatar; If that means anything...

From a developer who made several funny games, this is (IMHO) the funniest, and most challenging game from one of the kings of adventure games.
Waiting for the release, but you bet I'll play it again. <3
