Death Epileptic Pixel, A Free, Difficult & Vibrant 3D Platformer

The only thing 'difficult' about it is that it's buggy. Most of the time I fail is because suddenly my character inexplicably decides he doesn't want to jump high enough.
Other than that, it looks like someone's first attempt at a game. Horrible, unnecessary backgrounds. Music that's looped poorly. Lack of shading (would make a difference, as it can be hard to tell how big a platform is, since the top blends in with the sides).
It's just a mess.

Unless you're one of those people that get excited about news for impending news. In which case, go nuts.

Quoting: SabunAt the end of the month? Nice!It sounds like they'll have information about the port at the end of the month. Not the port itself. Try not to get your hopes up about it coming soon.

Quoting: mrdeathjrTry compiling yourself, on my test i compile wine myselfI appreciate it, but I'm sure I could compile it myself if I wanted to. Plus it's effort for something I prefer to avoid using where I can in the first place (Wine). I was able to get Dawngate working well after installing it in a Windows XP virtual machine and copying the files over.

Quoting: mrdeathjrOn my case installation works on wine 1.7.19I was under the assumption it's a problem with Wine. It seems like it's because the Arch Linux package of WIne is compiled with a version of gcc that breaks things. Guess I'll have to wait 'til that's fixed.

I've been unable to install Dawngate since 1.7.18 and this didn't fix it, sadly. I think it has something to do with the fact the installer is a .msi. Maybe I'll install it on a virtualbox and see if it runs afterwards. Before all this the game ran fantastically.
ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow Review

I've actually been sporting a Ryos Mk Pro for the past ~five months. I was completely unaware of ROCCAT's existence 'til I looked up gaming keyboards for Linux. I feel it's wasting some of its potential on me, since I don't really use macros or anything like that. I love the per-key lighting and on-board bindings. Full reformat and I didn't have to change my keys at all (Maybe this is a standard and I'm just used to not using fancy keyboards, though). If money isn't an issue, I can definitely recommend it. I look forward to getting a ROCCAT mouse someday to go along with it.

I like it, though I hate that whole 'excessive whitespace' thing. I'm sure there are people out there that do like that, but I don't. It reminds me of a mobile app. Maybe that's your intention, to make it easier for mobile users to browse the site. I'll probably crop it down with greasemonkey anyways.

Hopefully it gets a proper interface. You can tell how mobile it is just by looking at that trailer. Mobile games are also known for things like short experiences and micro-transactions. Can't say I'm hyped. I'll check to see if it exceeds expectatioms after release.

I quite enjoyed the first game and would recommend you continue if you enjoyed the gameplay at all. It had a slightly interesring story that made you think throughout. One of the few games I can proudly say I actually beat.
