i can't get any clue from this Undentified Feral Object, but tomb raider makes sense, they've ported the first, makes sense that they keep porting the tomb raider series, same about shadow of war, and i'm missing some day one ports, nier automata is what we want, maybe not what we will get. I would buy any of the 3 (as soon as i get money to, i'm poor, sorry)

Quoting: MakiLondon, '68; We Happy FewI hope you're wrong, compulsion games promised a linux port of "We Happy Few", i hope they don't need feral to do it, and plus the game is still in early access.

amazing job feral, mad max will be my next purchase, but about the "windows x linux" thing, unfortunately i think windows is still better, i've seen a 980ti = i7 6700k running around 150fps at windows 10 in ultra, liam's pc runs at 120, but i still want to see some benchmarks and comparisons to be sure

as someone that is trying to work in games, i think i should participate of more game jams, never did it before, looks cool, but i wouldn't be able to produce enough assets in time, and if we aren't allowed to use even the starter content from the engines it would be really hard if i take in count my skills with making models and materials, plus it would take me something near an entire day to upload my project.

to say the true linux gamers got a lot of attention since valve tried to release steam machine, and i'm glad for it, porters like feral are doing a great job, and i hope they keep going, but deep inside, i feel that it's not working as it should, linux users on steam seems to don't grow at all, and seems that gaming is not a big concern for linux distros, also i don't see tech media talking about linux, i follow some of them, they make articles for every update on windows, but still say "PC" to refer to windows, and the last time i've read something about linux from them was on steamOS launch, i feel that we are having our chance now to grow, but if we don't, i think we will be forgotten again.

it's sad, the packaging process to linux in unreal is kinda sad at all, you have to create a cross compile toolchain then download the source code and recompile the engine, then package the game, it took me a really long time to discover how to do it exactly since their documentation about it isn't very clear and still there are some wrong steps in it, i'm even thinking about making a tutorial for youtube about it, since there's not any, and now that i know how to do it still take me an entire day (downloading + compiling + opening the project + packaging) what is bad if i wan't to frequently package the game to see if it is working properly (since we know it may not, the other 99 is an example of it), i'm learning about game development, UE4 is my favorite engine at this point, i know unity have a better support on linux but i personally don't like unity at all, i was thinking about taking a look at cry engine, but crytek is almost in bankrupcy and i've not seen many cryengine games on linux.
What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?

i think some game from EA being launched at same time for windows and linux would be a great milestone, EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda and Activision are some really big publishers that don't have any game to linux. Also LoL should have a linux version... common it's riot's only game... they can do it.
