Decided I'd grab it, via their website (which is cheaper) and that purchase actually goes via a Humble Widget, which gives you access to the DRM-free Linux, Mac, Windows, Android versions of the game (hosted by Humble), plus the Steam key.

I have tried this out on Android on someone else's phone, long ago. And I didn't especially like it on a phone touchscreen (It is a 3D action RPG requiring constant movement) but I think mouse + keyboard (or gamepad) will be much more enjoyable for me.

Yes, you've brought me a little nostalgia. I used to play games with my Yamaha TG-100 general midi module connected to my PC, and then really nice midi music coming through that.

Noting that the SC-55 and similar are not all *that* cheap on Ebay (ebay.co.uk) at this instant. Typical price is £100 or more. For me, cheap is £50 or less.

I don't have a good game idea to mention but I'm interested in looking at alternative suggestions for the clues.

1. We know it is a Garibaldi biscuit. The Garibaldi biscuit was named after Italian general Giuseppe Garibaldi. Likewise, the updated FTL is working great for me too.

I've just had a decent session, that ended with me dying on the flagship. I was so pleased with all the various bits (eventually) falling in to place.

My final load-out was 2x Shield, High Evasion (51%), Defence Drone II, Combat Drone I, 2x Heavy Ion, Pike beam, Hull Laser, Mind Control, Explosive Replicator, Drone Recovery, and Shield Charge Booster. Early on I picked up Scrap Recovery and took advantage of that until close to the end.

The annoying flagship did it to me again. Even though the Defence Drone II can knock missiles, lasers, hacking missiles out of the air, the flagship fired off about 10 hacking missiles, and the one that got through took out my Drone Control. And that ruined my strategy. With no drones, I just couldn't fight effectively.

Also, rather than Hull Laser or Heavy Ion, I really wanted a Small Bomb or Breach Bomb (or other missile) so that I could fire through the enemy shields and take systems down. But the RNG stopped me getting one. Those would have gone so well with my Explosive Replicator augmentation. By the end, I had accumulated about 50-60 missiles (and then double that !!! :) )

I've just responded to their twitter request, with a single game title and the reasons I think it is a good choice. But, I'd also venture - the list of games I mentioned on GOL earlier - I'd buy all the very high preference and most of the high preference titles, if they came to Linux. There's too little chance that a single title would get past the first step (i.e. the publishers will or won't let Feral port it) so that's why I'm mentioning a few more (on GOL).

Not an entirely sensible suggestion. It is Sony's game on Sony's hardware. Maybe if one day it gets released on XBOX, Windows, then it becomes something that could be considered.

Meanwhile, I notice a lot of these suggestions to Feral are for existing games. There are a lot of upcoming games, which people will be wanting on Linux as soon as they're released.

It's interesting how with the results in front of me, I cannot remember every single choice I made in the voting. It is interesting voting for games you've not played, and also trying to be fair to contenders. I watched various game play videos where I was feeling the choice was particularly difficult.

Matched up 6 or 7 of the 15 1st places with my choices. And 6 or 7 of my choices were in the top 5 of each category. Only 1 was completely out.

It is good to get Crowd-based results on things like this, even if each individual in the crowd makes a flawed evaluation. Because the summed result is fairly accurate and smooths out the real feelings of the community.

If you ask 1 person to estimate how many sweets are in a jar, then you can end up with a vastly incorrect result. If you ask 100 or 1000 people how many, then the result gets closer and closer to the true figure.
