Back to the original topic. My thoughts after finishing Ion Fury:
- The speed of the gameplay was unrealistically high
- It had a bad oneliners
- The plot was very brief
- It had way too many explosions
All in all... It was perfect! :D

How come people who are offended seem less fun than people who offend?
Guess being offended is a whine after all.

Quoting: 0ttmanDid you notice some of the Achievements/Trophies,when you launch from the command line?Nice. Didn't notice. Completed the game on self-compiled EDuke32 though.
Quoting: heidi.wengerI heard there's now some kinda transgender issue with this game? Anyone knows more of this?Does this count? ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVj17XtxfQg [External Link]
The situation with Blood: Fresh Supply getting a Linux version is looking a little unclear

Blood: Fresh Supply works amazing in Proton. NBlood seemed less smooth, despite it being Linux native.
It is up to the player what he finds most important. Gameplay, Vulkan, or Linux native. :)
By the way: I needed to run Blood: Fresh Supply with esync disabled to avoid random crashes in Proton. Furthermore, you can also run NBlood with the Fresh Supply files.

Quoting: Xpanderi shouldn't say this maybe but it works amazingly in proton anyway with all the avilable render apis the game has (dx11, opengl3.2 and Vulkan) - played like 4 hours with zero problems.Xpander is right. I decided to compare the two.

For the nerds... You can build the newest eDuke32 source [External Link] to play Ion Fury.
Then run your own built executable:
It uses these files:
Then run your own built executable:

I can tell you my review for the Valve Index on Arch Linux with a GeForce GTX 1080:
Things that work great:
- Hardware detection.
- Setting it up in Steam.
- The "Home Room" in which you start your 3D experience.
- Linux native VR games playable (duh)!
- Multiple Windows VR games playable using Steam Play!
I was amazed by how it "just worked".
Things I encountered:
- Needed to install missing lib32 packages for doing Big Picture stuff in the "Home Room".
- Some Windows VR games not playable.
- Movies for VR (360 movies) only worked on Windows.
- Google Earth VR is way too slow on Linux (is a great program btw).
- Booting VR the second time (in the same Steam session) makes it crash.
I cannot speak for people with an AMD card, but an Arch-based distro using NVIDIA drivers works!
