Been waiting a long time for this. I remember XL Engine had some things missing. The Force Engine however supports ultrawide, high FPS, etc. Using cross hair instead of aim assist is also a nice feature.
Played though the first level. It satisfies all the needs to finally play it on a modern system. Well, it will soon anyway with the upcoming Mac en Linux support.
I'll wait a little longer...

I wonder... Is it possible to play A.W.O.L. by building your own executable, e.g. using eDuke32?

Thanks for the tip.
Republique VR [External Link] is also up for grabs.
Normally I'd rather stand during gameplay, but this VR title seems better when seated.

Stray Doom works with Doom and Doom II (DOOM.WAD and DOOM2.WAD).
Funny... It even works with Heretic, but then the color scheme is all messed up, except for the cat.

Long delays are common nowadays. Didn't used to be that way. At least, not as often: :)
However, aiming for quality is indeed better than aiming for a deadline.
Quoting: Hamish*insert Duke Nukem Forever joke here*I wish companies would postpone the announcement of new titles, instead of release deadlines.

Quake II RTX 1.6.0 adds AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)

Quake II running smooth with raytracing is way more beautiful than the OpenGL version.
Now I wonder what we have to do to get the Linux version running properly.

Quoting: Oet_I will check the Steam version in Windows.Runs properly on Windows. Turning on dynamic resolution scaling massively improved FPS, which was turned off by default.

This is the Steam version. Compiling Quake II RTX from source gave me some SDL2 wl_proxy_marshal_flags error [External Link] which they are currently fixing.
Anyway, I will check if this bugginess is hardware or software vendor politics. I will check the Steam version in Windows.

Quoting: AnzaNext I added RADV_PERFTEST=rt %command% to the games launch options. That did the trick. But my result is similar as yours. Very low FPS with big triangles and garbage.

Groove Gunner combines rhythm shooting (like Audica) and hitting projectiles (like Synth Riders).
Constantly switching between both is challenging, at least for me... Guess I cannot multitask and therefore must be male.
Great that Groove Gunner has SteamOS + Linux support. Most VR games forget that important feature. :)

Quoting: Liam DaweNot a complete game though, they still have plenty more to add into it and since it's open source anyone can help.'Early Access Game' on Steam initially released 11 May, 2004. Guess that beats Duke Nukem Forever! :)
