Shadowrun Returns updates on drm and linux
14 Apr 2013 at 7:50 am UTC

That quote regarding Linux support doesn't seem very promising. Since they aren't giving it an ETA, then there's no real rush for them to get it out. Meaning it could be pushed back pretty far :/

Terasology the open-source survival and discovery game releases build 24!

This game looks and feels amazing! Thanks to you liam, I've just discovered another gem :)

Minetest is definitely more optimized since it's coded in C++ and uses Irrilicht (if I'm not mistaken), but Terasology looks absolutely fantabulous! I got it to run in my Ubuntu machine too, come take a looksy:

I fumble around in the video a bit, since I'm new to the controls (they do things a bit differently compared to Minecraft + Minetest). For anyone who reads this, you'll most likely need OpenJDK 6 Runtime AND OpenJDK 7 Runtime installed. With only 6 installed, it gave me errors. With 7, it works like a beauty.

If I had the Logitech Steering set of controllers, then I'd probably enjoy this game like crazy :)
(By enjoy, I mean crashing into everyone hehe. Can't road rage in real life, so virtual will have to do).

The Latest Humble Weekly Sale (April 9-16)

Quoting: LarianEver since THB started platform-specific bundles it seems like I just don't care about their offerings anymore. Not sure why. Perhaps because they've taken on the same feel as the Royal Bundles.
I feel the same way.

Crimsonland hardcore shooter on greenlight
9 Apr 2013 at 4:38 pm UTC

Quoting: edgleyYeah, it's actually the other way around, although more of an "inspired by Crimsonland" :)
Indeed, I made a very shameful mistake... Man, if I could go back in time and slap myself I most certainly would. That's what happens when I think with my emotions and assumptions.:|

Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter campaign successful, Mac & Linux confirmed!
9 Apr 2013 at 4:34 pm UTC

Is this the same Divinity series as Divinity: Ego Draconis? If it is, I wonder if they'd be so kind as to port their older titles as well :)

Battle Worlds: Kronos - Turn-based strategy revisited

Quoting: GarogYes it is Unity, u can see it in the Movie, really nice look :)
You have a very good eye! I only noticed 3Ds Max. I rewatched it, and lo and behold when they're talking about the playing modes, I saw the tip of the Projects folder. Goes to show we just needed the Engines to support Linux, and we're all set for the future :)

Battle Worlds: Kronos - Turn-based strategy revisited

Man, it looks graphically intense. I like that aspect :)
Is it being developed in Unity, or something else entirely?
