Incredible hacking in the noble meaning of the word.
Honestly most of the game not only work fine, but as a recent exemple: I wanted to replay the Prince of Persia Trilogy. I thought the second episode was not working, but it was due to the way I mounted my ISO. So I played it on windows 7 64bit, and the game kept of crashing all the time on the beginning of the game. I found a way around but the cinematics were buggy, and the was crashing every two loading. At one point my character suddenly had the skin of my double shadow which it's not meant to happen in the game.

I retried and install the game on wine with correct mounting of ISO, and then I realised some parts of the game and quest were not present when I was playing on windows. Like some action, movies, enigmas and chase part of the game had completly disappeared, but on linux with wine, everything was working normally without crash bug/glitch...

Really crazy stuff!

I also saw the movie from GTA V played on linux through DXVK from Xpander and it's Wow!!! Once again it's pretty stunning, it also seems to perform very well! Time to entirely ditch windows is coming way closer than I expected. Really wine team does some computing magic for all those lost treasure with no ports.

Wow! Usefull tool, I myself is not abble to create such a tool, and it was a bit annoying to run a .sh every time I wanted to play a game, and also after playing the game. Clearly good stuff.

Microsoft must be like WTF!! They have million dollars (if not billion) of ressource to make a game mode that is slower than normal mode, and a small but well trained team of porter release an open source that actually works as intended!

I agree with what's been said about the Tomb Raider reboot. In tomb raider underworld (despite the bugs) and the first trilogy (also anniversary), Lara Croft was a cultivated, passionated and lady of a certain form of elegance due to her education and her life in the Croft Manoir. She was an true archeologist and the game was more about exploration, enigma and platform mechanics. But I will support feral as well.

I have completed the empyrean campaign, and it's quite excellent. It has a retro diablo 1/2 touch with simple item build and skill tree, i really love this engine demonstration.

The game is really looking great and running smooth. It's not like the old spec ops, as it's primary action based but the realisation is nice and environment are splendid imo. I think it's more than worthy to get it as we can also play it on multiplayer in coop and with windows gamers.

Of course they could easily do the ports. But someone at the head of Zenimax had the last point. The head director of zenimax has been condemned in some hazy banking corruption and swindle. He is no more allowed by the law to do any kind of banking money. I would not be surprised if a friend of him who works at microsoft and just told him in a dinner, "don't support linux anymmore"...

Anyway at the moment when ID software got bought by bethesda(zenimax), soon after, the game quake live went from free to play, moddable, playable in plugin, compatible with linux to= suppresion of mods, suppression of plugin browser, suppression of linux and mac, suppression of premium membership, then became steam only removing cool feature of the game with the console and adding useless stuff, and finaly 10€ instead of free.

So I guess at the head of zenimax there are some weird people. The bethesda launcher itself use rootkit methods which are clearly stated in the CLUF.

This guys needs to go to jail, and let the gamers decide.
