Quoting: failzersThanks, didn't know about that one !Quoting: JahimselfUnrelated matter but I always wondered why there is no software backing up all game saves in one click. With for instance on the website of the editor a request system where you could send the savegame path for an unlisted game.Ludusavi might be what you're looking for. It's cross platform, unlike Gamesave Manager.

Exactly the kind of launcher I would like gog galaxy to be. Even on windows I never used that software.
It would be perfect if it could use the cloud for savegames.
Unrelated matter but I always wondered why there is no software backing up all game saves in one click. With for instance on the website of the editor a request system where you could send the savegame path for an unlisted game.
Therefore you could have a simple tool. Displaying all the list of your games installed, then you could tick the one you wanted to backup the saves with a location button where you give the path of the place you want to backup. (i.e partitions or external HDD...)
There could also be some function for instance to add cloud backup account like google drive, mega.nz and other services alike, so you could send them straight away from the same software.

I like "more steam deck, more steamos" in the end, they are the only major actor in the industry standing for linux gaming. All games that have been published with linux builds are available, unlike for gog for instance. The fact that such a big company is doing this could be a good driving force in the future for linux gaming. Other competitors might have to get a look at linux. There a huge amount of work involved from valve and it was a big bet to release the steam deck with steamos. Unless some lucky curse of event for mankind, everyone is pretty much aware that standart of life we had is gonna lower more and more. Things will get more expensive and rare, any extra cost might also become an issue over time for the big publisher like EA, Ubisoft,Blizzard, Epic and maybe Microsoft itself... At least I hope :p
Valve prooved that it was feasable with a good concept that came accross the philosophy of this platform since quite a couple of years now. Steamdeck is a real successfull launch, and it runs way beyond what most people were expecting, troublefree for the most and without headache for final users from what I've read. They've prooved something no one in the industry would have bet on, and now they look at valve and linux differently.

It's a bit weird to advocate against piracy and annoy the honest customer, while only the pirated version is troublefree to use... Using denuvo is a schysophrenic behaviour that acts like a promotion for hacked version...
It's the same as saying: "I don't trust you because you are honest and buy my games..."

Maybe proton have better fps or minimum low, but I always prefered feral port. They are clean port without issue, everything is nicely rendered, with good audio mapping, it's always a pleasure to play a feral port. I also like the feral launcher, it's a nice addition that windows user doesn't have :)
By the way didn't one of the previous feral port had crossplatform multiplayer? I think it was total war remastered? Maybe it's just my imagination, but I recall having read something on the subject?

Gamescope from Valve pulls in support for NVIDIA Image Scaling

Hello,
Is the image scaling the equivalent of DSR factors on windows? Because this option for me is really a must have when you put smoothing at 6%. It allows to render all your old games at twice the native resolution (1920x1200 in my case which makes it 3840x2400), and therefore making them often better than any HD or Remaster edition.
It is a bit different from the in game option of resolution scaling, and renders a tiny bit more sharper than those options.

Quoting: Projectile VomitI do like the art style of this game. It is very appealing.Yes it is quite similar to the style of Amanita Design. It seems that it has it's own addition in terms of colors and sound design as well, pretty interesting one.
