Looks from the trailer it might have co-op ? There was a monk in a orange robe fighting alongside the protagonist in a few shots.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus looks very XCOM and the enemy has been revealed

I thought the Necrons were created during a battle of the ancient races.
The one that lost accepted the help of the C'Tan and basically became the Necrons as a result.

Epic Games releases the assets from Paragon, for Unreal Engine developers

Quoting: Power-Metal-Games
Quoting: BeamboomWhat's the status on the UE-editor on Linux nowadays?
It's working almost perfectly. I'm working in it from 4.15. Now it's 4.19 already.

Quoting: Kimyrielle12 million? oO

No wonder that most Indie games look so bad. I don't think they can blow 12 million on art assets...
I laughed a little when I read this few days ago. It's exaggerated a little. I mean, in last year only I created only myself about 1/4 of what they are offering here of models etc. and I didn't earn 1/4 of 12 millions. I really love Epic, but it's more like a cool news title. Also, I don't like to use anything that is offered from the other people, or can be brought. It's always missing something and it's never how I want it to be. So, I love creating everything for my projects. Models, sound effects etc. Sound effects especially are never what I want and I love creating them.

Quoting: KimyrielleCan these be used in other game engines (*cough* Godot), or did Epic disallow that?
No. It can't be used with other engines. But, just try UE4 and you will forgot everything about Godot etc in a few hours.
So are you telling us you're making a game ? :)

Quoting: oldrocker99Back 10 years ago, Neverwinter Nights was the only commercial game to have a Linux client, and, as I had already played the game since 2002, I was overjoyed, and have played hundreds of hours on Linux.
No, the original Doom was one of if not the first commercial game to have a Linux client, way back in 1994:

Abuse by Crack Dot Com even had Linux releases published by Red Hat in 1997:

Not to mention Loki Software, more from id Software, Hyperion, Tribsoft, LGP, and many more.
All true, but the Diamond Edition of NWN was the only easily-available game (you could find in stores--how quaint!) I could get, and, when I later got some Loki games, they simply weren't any fun, mostly C+ games that didn't hold my interest. I do love Kohan:Immortal Sovereigns, but haven't played it in 7-8 years.

And I hate and despise FPS games. Because I totally suck at them.;)
I thought I was the only one that experienced the Kohan series.
Seems today you only can via wine, but there is nothing comparable even on Windows as far as i know.

Quoting: razing32Hmm gameplay seems to focus on the criminals.
Do they want to make this a cops versus robbers game or a free for all ?

I any case looks fun.

I love how the void gets filled on Linux. No Gta 5 but we have a cops and robbers game after all. (not the same thing i know , but in concept at least)
I consider the Saints Row series to be the closest commercial thing we have to GTA right now.
Hmm , I knew it had single player. Does it have a comparable multi player ? Then i stand corrected.
