The turn-based combat makes it quite different from what I thought a visual novel would be like. It's fun -- thanks for the recommendation, I don't think I would have bothered playing otherwise :D

I can totally see Imant's perspective, which is why I'll pass on this one. The developers can use an over-the-top protagonist to illustrate what jerks prejudiced people can be, so this doesn't imply developers themselves believe similarly, but I don't want to play a whole game being mad at the protagonist. Would rather that sort of character be the bad guy that a relatively well-meaning hero must overcome.

Segata Sunshiro, speaking of notable adventure games in the last decade, have you played Book of Unwritten Tales? Native build has been available on Steam for a while, and I loved it. Really looking forward to the sequel, which will be releasing with Linux support.
