This kind of situation is indeed pretty complicated from my point of view. I'm usually a DRM-Free "zealot", but there I understand the two arguments. Seriously, some guys don't care having DRM on their games, some refuse them, but we wouldn't have to chose between DRM-Free and multiplayer.

Still sad to see that GOG have not the Linux versions of the Penumbra games... I send an email about it this month and still no answer.

In case some didn't notice, the Linux release is now up on GOG too!
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. OpenSuSE Tumbleweed is working. Linux Mint is working. Arch Linux is working. Check forums for more info.That's pretty nice too.

That's not the case yet, but this is truly "open source" and "free software", just thinking of other some companies out there who didn't really understand what it is... :whistle:
