Quoting: adamhmNo worries thanks for the reply if i get it working i will put up what i did for anyone else that wants itQuoting: Whitewolfe80Really quick question does the saboteur work with a controller from your script, 3rd person shooters are not that much fun on mouse and keyboard for me.I've never tried before, but I quickly checked with an X360 controller just now and the game didn't recognise it. It might be possible to get it working with some tweaking but it's not something I have any experience with as I almost exclusively use kb+m.

OpenGL to be deprecated in the next macOS release, could mean interesting things for Linux gaming

Quoting: HoriI think it will mean bad things for Linux. But thats already happened there are many games out on mac but not linux and that was when open gl was the only way to code games for mac. I think that it may discourage a few indie studios from doing a linux port however since pretty much all Triple A games are either ported by Feral or VP it makes little difference as they both have their own custom tools for porting. Aspyr dont count anymore since they pretty much abanadoned linux a year ago.
Why?
Because when you made a game for Linux you were very close to a Mac port also, and vice versa. So you didn't get just Linux's or Mac's market share, you got both. Now you will only get one. Two small shares combined were reasonable, but just one probably won't cut it for many devs.

Quoting: ShmerlUnless its changed is is still impossible to fullscreen a game bought under the windows store as i remember a bunch of streamers and yt saying that it wasnt possible it defaults to windowed stretch/fullscreen but not true full screen. Even so I am glad am not on windows anymore.Quoting: sub"no vulkan allowed" storefront.I think they only allow UWP, and UWP doesn't support Vulkan. So the result - no Vulkan applications allowed.
You mean Vulkan API apps are not allowed on the Microsoft store?
Really? Can you please point me to a source?
What Linux games are you looking forward to this year? Here's my top picks

Quoting: GuestDon't know. From the list in the article, some games might appeal to me eventually, will see, but i am not looking forward currently to any of them.Hate to crap all over your secret wish but Deus ex sequel is pretty unlikely ."Deus Ex: Mankind Divided failed to generate the level of sales needed to grow the series into a mainstream franchise." Studio head montreal saying that in January last year he did however state that the series is not dead just on hiatus recently so maybe.
For me, 2018 is all about DXVK working better with Fallout 4 and Witcher 3, so i can have the only 2 AAA games i love from this generation on my Linux-only desktop, alongside my other favourites (Rise of the) Tomb Raider, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Hitman. I have already completed them of course, on Windows, but now i am Linux-only and i would rather re-play good games i enjoy than play new games that are average/mediocre/don't appeal to me.
Other than that, i am looking forward to Feral announcing Shadow of Tomb Raider, and my secret wish for Santa Claus is a Deus Ex Mankind Divided sequel. DXMD being my favourite game of the last 5 years. Just loving this game. Would replay it 20-30 times before buying a new game for sure. LOL.

Quoting: XpanderIts a hack and slash or as Tb would of called it a spectical fighter with a dark story and dark visualsQuoting: DisharmonicMy guess would be this https://store.steampowered.com/app/414340/Hellblade_Senuas_Sacrifice/ [External Link]this is actually pretty good guess. I don't know much about this game, but given its popularity and huge thread asking for Linux support + its an UE4 game and has very positive reviews, it should fit right in.

I am guessing Hellblade sacrifice given that it was self published by platnium has done really well and maybe they were talking into testing the waters with their surprise hit

Hypergate looks cool mmm as for any others nothing right now hoping the new Tomb Raider games comes across to linux sooner rather than the standard 2 and bit years wait we have been on. I know people get hyped about indie titles I ve enjoyed a few such as Shovel Knight and most of 11 bit studios games This war of mine etc but for the most part they do nothing for me as am not a fan of rogue likes. I know there are others but there are a lot of pixel rogue likes and if there your jam great and am glad when any game comes to linux its just for me they are not to my taste.
What worries me is that we are half way through the year and we have had one triple A game and it came out on windows 2 years ago that being Tomb Raider this concerns me. I understand we are slowing down and we have been spoilt in the past by rapid-ish in terms of annoucement to release, but one in half a year is concerning looks like we are going to get Hellblade from fereal thats great I just hope they have at least another title or two in the bag for linux this year.

Quoting: Ludiusnice try where was your selective reading "Modern Romania was formed in 1859 through a personal union of the Danubian Principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia. The new state, officially named Romania since 1866, gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1877. At the end of World War I,"Quoting: liamdaweIt seems you were selective on what you read on wikipedia.
