Quoting: sevenOk feral, listen carefully, I will say this over and over again...... Port SPACEMARINE already, its long overdue!!!
I loved that game, it was so much fun. I played it right through to the end and would play it again to the end if it got ported to Linux (I dont have any Windows partition any more).

I think the clue might be Tomb Raider, and I'd be really pleased if it was.
If you want space marine suggest it to feral they are open to hearing what the community wants plus its a Sega/published title they have been Linux friendly with the total war series.

Hmm.
Can you link the guide please ?
Also , don't have a retail copy. Just have the digital version. :([/quote]http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/starcraft-ii-guide.387/page-5#post-10830 [External Link]

the guide is for play on linux but other than that only changes i made were to win version and screen size. It should not be a problem either version. Also the pol utility does actually have an updated script for sc2.

Quoting: razing32My wonder is if i can get Starcraft 1 or remastered working so i can play with friends.

Starcraft 1 now dies when i start battle net.
depends what the game is built on sc2 is based on dx9 so it very easy to get up and running on wine however if its DX11 it could be brutal
Blizzard games are a pain to run , especially their client.
Starcraft 2 should work fine

I still have yet to try the solution provided by camoceltic :

really i am yet to have a problem with either sc 2 or hearthstone however i have not booted heartstone in ages
Are you starting the installers directly ? Or through BattleNet client ?
What win version ?
Under windows 7 basically i used the guide from gamers on linux tweaking it for windows 7 and that is pretty much it and never had any problems oh and no download the client or just use my retail dvd copy.

Quoting: GuestGTA V - black screen with audio; before 2.11 "Not enough memory" error;
Witcher 3 - some mirror visual glitches, performance isn't good for playing 1080p on middle with (i7 3770, Nvidia GTX 1070)
switch to 1600x900 you may get a playable framerate also make sure to turn off AA and hair works

I really don't get comments like these. Just because some people don't like RTS game, they seem to grab onto the fact that Feral have ported some, while ignoring the rest.

Like I said in my other comment:
Quoting: meMad Max
Deus Ex
Shadow of Mordor
Life is Strange
Dirt Rally
Alien Isolation
HITMAN
F1 2015
Tomb Raider
Grid Autosport
Because it kind of become the in thing to slate rts games without actually playing them.

Quoting: backplate101well, looking on google map of the location. One of the roads in that locality is "elder road" in London. could it possibly be referring to Elder scrolls?.
I was hoping for a witcher 3 port mind you...ho hum.
Witcher 3 is pretty much a dead project on linux just have to hope sooner or later wine nails dx11 and witcher 3 becomes playable that way

Quoting: XpanderRise of the Tomb Rider would be really good :D specially if with vulkan.

Dirt 4 would be nice also, but sadly its not as good as dirt rally when it comes to realistic physics :)

i have no idea about the clue though :D

but since feral has ported codemasters and square enix games, i think those are plausible games.
Could be TR Rise and Dirt 4 both are developed in the UK however Crystal Dynamics are not based in London, if memory serves they are based in Leeds.

Yeah, surely you just hit the "Export" button and choose "Linux", right? /s
I know it's not that simple but it is unified code ie the problems that are happening in Linux have to be happening in Windows or similar unless the Windows guys are not reporting errors.
