Quoting: rafebelmontWell, I think the only place where it will hurt is in their pockets. Everyone who is feeling let down by the develper should apply for a refund right now. I know I would if I had the game.
If they got it through steam good luck its fully automated no human actually reads the comments you put down and unless its been less than two weeks, a refund is not happening.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is another Kickstarted game to delay the Linux version
28 Mar 2017 at 1:05 pm UTC

Quoting: Shinikio"it said "PC" and we all know how confusing that term is for Linux gamers."

"PC" is clear for me, it means "Personal Computer" not Windows or any system but more like hardware :P
Unfortunately, that often means "Windows" for most of people, but this is wrong and it should change. That's like say "console" and think it's only Sony, that's just nonsense
Yeah but it has worked when a game is announced they say PC and thus have managed to get into the heads of the majority PC = Windows.

Editorial: On paying for Linux games when you already have a Windows version

Quoting: DribbleondoI'm probably gonna make a Video voicing my opinion on this particular subject in the near-future. Porting houses definitely deserve revenue, but beating the convenience of Steamplay to get that revenue by creating 2 game entries is basically the only way around the "guaranteed revenue" minefield.
Not sure if i do not have a game that i want and its ported to Linux of course i will be all over it but i am not keen on paying Feral or Aspyr for a game I already own. I agree it would be interesting to see the various contracts Feral etc draw up is it totally based on units sold on Linux or is it a flat fee with additional sales royalties.
