I love this game, its presentation mainly, but also the way that the battles capture the essence of the Batman: Arkham games. When you die in a fight, it's rarely because of something "unfair". I need to find more time to play this, I've hardly scratched the surface and it's constantly getting updates and DLC.
Looks like both A Hat in Time and Gravel are coming to Linux, ports from Virtual Programming

Quoting: titiVirtual Programming? Oh oh ... their last "port" MXGP2 was a complete fail. Its unplayable.I heard that was fixed pretty quickly - a day after release. Is it still an issue??

I missed AHiT on the Humble Bundle, definitely would love to buy/play it. I'm still a long way from paying for Proton games, so this is great news if it's coming. Can't believe they put it up a second time only to remove it again though. What on earth is going on at VP?

Actually, I can. Because when I run stuff at 4K, I'm lucky to hit 60fps, even with my GTX1080.
But enjoy your 4K, I guess, if you really can sniff your nose at 1080p. If it were me, I wouldn't be complaining about performance though. Ported games will always under-perform compared to their native target. I find that 1080p removes any hint that there's degradation in the first place. And since I just can't tell the difference between that jaggy line and this ever-so-slightly less jaggy line, that's how I roll it.

Quoting: Guest1080p is nothing.Well. That's... quite a statement. Sound very elitist to me, to be completely honest. But hey, maybe you are. I admit I'm not: I play on a 32" Asus Predator 4K monitor at 1080p - a monitor that sits about two feet from my beautifully monitor-tanned face, and I can't tell the difference between a well anti-aliased game running at 1080p and one running at 4K.

Quoting: GuestFor me, this game was running very poorly and also crashed a lot. I was really waiting for it but it turned out to be a disappointment...It ran poorly on a GTX1080?? Even with the higher resolution, I'm surprised by that. I run my 1080 at 1920x1080, but there isn't a single game I've ever played, native or otherwise that doesn't wildly exceed 60fps.

This looks vaguely Dead Cell-sy. Beautiful background graphics too, really smooth movement. I guess it's on the slightly pricey side, but the quality here suggests it might be worth it.
Did you get a key, Liam? Wondering if we'll get a review. But with 34 positive reviews on Steam and not a single negative review, I suspect I'll end up pulling the trigger on this regardless. Just have to tear myself away from what is becoming a horrible trio-addiction of Slay the Spire, Overwatch and 7 Days to Die...

Also, unrelated, but their lead dev is pretty cool and often tweets about game development, which I enjoy. I have confidence they'll deliver.

Quoting: pbYou keep putting smilies, but it's clear you're actually serious, which is a shame. To be clear why I say so, it's a far cry to compare Kitsune Games to those less reputable devs in this case. Not only have they already released MidBoss with Linux support, they're also developing in a well-supported framework AND finally, this stretch goal wasn't for Linux support - they committed to that anyway. The stretch goal was for simultaneous launch.Quoting: Nezchandev, who's already got a game out for Linux, is totally gonna forget about Linux.Because it has never happened so far. ;-)

I really enjoyed this and got about 10 hours in, then was distracted by something else and never went back. I found the combat to be challenging and generally balanced, although some "optional" objectives felt pretty mandatory at times and made some fights much, much harder.
I'll have to revisit this now that it's had its big update.

Quoting: Power-Metal-GamesDoes anybody know when Valve will release a new Proton version?Ethan Lee still posts on Twitter quite a bit [External Link]. He hasn't really said much about his new job though.
Also, what happen with the guy who got job to work on the audio? After he got employed, we never heard about him again..

I have an Overwatch launcher in my quick bar now, thanks to Lutris. It feels native. So impressive.
