Quoting: Avehicle7887Those damn spiders are murdering me, have been trying to single line them into a corridor but they are quite smart, I really need to time their attacks.
You'll need to make extensive use of freeze-time to deal with later fights, particularly with multiple enemies. I find area-based attacks like Acid Nozzle or Zapper deals with the spiders very effectively. Although it helps that I'm using the special crowbar that deals extra damage to them (and that I'm a blunt-weapon specialist in a Tech Rig!)

Working perfectly here. The fights are very challenging in my Tech Rig. Game has been fault free so far. I wonder what's causing those issues?

I love this.

Absolutely amazing to hear a story about a cool game being made on Linux, via Godot. Insta-buy when available.

Cracks me up to hear that "a few thousand" players is "dead". That's five times more than both Tanneberg and Verdun put together! Similar figures, to, say Street Fighter 5 or Tekken 7, both of which are still considered the top of their genre.

Someone recently suggested that Insurgency was also "dead". It averages about 2500 players. Sure, that's a tenth of the numbers playing something like Paladins, but hardly "dead".

These games are only dead if you compare them to PUBG, DOTA2, Football Manager or CS:GO.

(Fun Fact: Borderlands 2 still has about 7500 players daily, compared to the later Presequel which tends to peak at around a thousand! More too than Killing Floor 2, which is an actual multiplayer game, as opposed to a game where you can join a friend as you play...)

Quoting: GeneralStaalJust bought it and installed. Game starts fine but the UI doesn't react to mouse clicks for me.

Already tried LC_ALL=C $command%, no dice.

Quoting: BeamboomWhat's the "hardcore" element here?
Pretty sure it's just "hardcore sci-fi". From what I can tell, there's nothing particularly hardcore about the gameplay itself.

Like many here, I own the lot! Ah well... at least this article reminded me of Shadowrun. I might put a few hours into a re-run at some point soon.
