Quoting: MasterSleort40 - 60fps@4K with mesa 18I can also confirm MESA works great as I got 65-120fps at 3440x1440P on my Vega FE last I tried (on Mesa 17.3 - come on Solus!).
RUINER is now in Beta for Linux, it's also an early unlock in the new Humble Monthly

I made the mistake of waiting to redeem a Humble monthly gift I purchased for myself in April (note: it doesn't matter when/what month you buy it, it's when you redeem it that matters for what bundle you get). I'm pretty salty about this given that I wanted Deus Ex, but oh well. I took a study break from the RHCE to test this game and it performs quite well on my system which really shouldn't be a surprise.
3440x1440 - All Maxed out
65-120Fps, though it does seem to stutter a little bit but I'm not sure if that's related to my CPU or MESA.

I'm waiting until the full Vive Pro kit comes out (with the new base stations/controllers) then I'll upgrade from my Vive. If only I could get room setup to launch on Mesa though as I haven't even been able to experience VR on Linux aside from the basic headset functionality (doesn't work well when it doesn't know the bounds of the room).

Quoting: noxI need to try this tonight as currently nothing happens. Sometimes I'll get the splash box but then it immediately crashes.Quoting: lejimsterI've thought about trying this with Dying Light as I can't get the native Linux version to launch.Hello fellow vega 56 user!
Just force the gl version:

I will not be one to say I don't want a Linux version of any game, ever. In this case though this game already has issues they need to figure out before the Linux community could even warm up to the game in general such as bad performance, slow development, and declining player base (due to PUBG and Fortnite).
I'm very hesitant to feed into the Linux gamers are entitled/spoiled narrative by flat out saying I don't want X game or that I'm happy this game isn't coming to Linux (micro transactions and other similar bad practices aside). Any game/developer that supports Linux is a good and welcome thing in my book. I encourage them to look into it when they are able.

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoShadow of The Tomb Raider will be released on September 14 [External Link]I hope it won't be too long given that this one doesn't have the Microsoft exclusivity.

Quoting: STiATYea, I'm having issues with map generation it seems. The developer just requested our GPU info... seems as amdgpu users are hit by this only. You're using NVidia right?I'll play around some more tonight but I wasn't having any issues with map generation on my system.
Maybe yet another mesa hickup... we'll see. The developer is responsive, I will give them that. And ye, it's launch issues, but I had a lot of fun with the campaign and hope they can fix it up for me still.

I played for a bit last night and really enjoyed it. I'm really sad now that I know I won't be able to load that save... I'll probably wait for this to get fixed before I jump in again.
SteamVR beta updated to fix a radv crash and 'fixes' Vive Pro on Linux

I'll see if this update will allow me to try VR under linux. Previously the headset itself "works" but when I attempt to run room setup nothing happens and thus I can't proceed. I might see if I can import previously made room settings.
