I'm under the impression that, like Minecraft, this game has DRM and you must login everytime you play. Yuck.

I'm really not interested in Galaxy for Linux, I use lgogdownloader for managing my collection, which fits into my workflow better than a GUI app, and so the only thing Galaxy brings to the table is DRM'ed multiplayer. If I see a game with multiplayer that requires Galaxy it is an instant pass, the whole point of GOG for me is no DRM.

Quoting: soulsourceHad some fun with the GOG version...For me, the character moves fine in the tutorial, but the audio is completely distorted. I guess I could play without sound but I hope they will address the problems soon.
Not only does it try to load librtmp.so (which I haven't installed - can easily be worked around by not using the bundled libraries -> commenting out the LD_LIBRARY_PATH line in run.sh ), also the character doesn't move in the tutorial.
KDE will hopefully have a 'Production-ready' Wayland session for Plasma in 2021

I'm still not sure what the point is for an end user to switch to Wayland. People are listing missing features and bugs that need to be added before they can use Wayland, and I agree with all that but fixing them is not enough. X basically does everything I need and Wayland doesn't seem to bring anything to the table from a users point of view.
I don't have an issue with tearing, performance, or usability in and X and it feels like we are all switching just because developers don't like working on the old code base. Does anyone actually know what user problems Wayland will solve?

Steam is antithetical to the STK community ideals, wish they would forget about them and stick to the GPL. Future does look grim for the GPL and Free Software.
