Oh, it will release very soon for sure. Directly after {Giana Sisters|Evolve|Elite: Dangerous|Witcher 3|Half Life 2: Episode 3}.
*scnr* ;)
Jokes aside: I'm looking forward to finally have Rocket League on Linux. It's one of my most wanted games on Linux.
Still quite sad that is has been delayed so many times and now doesn't even have an ETA anymore. Hopefully it doesn't take the Batman: Arkham Knight way. Probably it won't, as the Windows version seems to have a pretty good base.
But it feels a bit like the drive of games on Linux has worn a bit off. The "news" about Linux games being delayed, canceled or don't get updates seem to increase. Even where we expected to get a Linux version, because either it would be very easy to port (Engine supports natively Linux or is OpenGL) or the previous games of that series got Linux versions, don't get any port. Or is that just my impression?

According to Deep Silver the new editions of Dead Island are not coming to Linux

Really sad news. We know Techland can do the ports themselves, and they are delivering good and playable ports. I reached out to the devs some time ago, after I've watched their Dying Light port report (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFdgOBniQB4 [External Link]), asking if they would port Dead Island Riptide, too.
Unfortunately the devs don't know nor are allowed to disclose any informations.
Deep Silver is very Linux-friendly though, so it's a bit odd they have no plans in releasing Linux versions for the Dead Island Definitive edition. Especially as Dead Island has a Linux version. I would have bought the Definitive Edition.
Let's hope they reconsider, maybe by showing them our interest in a Linux version of the Dead Island Definitive Edition.

Looks like both Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition are coming to Linux & SteamOS

Just today I thought about Dead Island Riptide, and if it's ever coming to Linux ;)
Have both already, and Riptide is working with wine... but in this case... I'll have to buy both again \o/

Just completed the Space Event in Adventure Capitalist and going for Mega Bucks now. As I could boost all planets with Mega Boosts already, I want to get enough Bucks to increase the platinum multiplier. Still haven't finished moon or earth yet.
I recently completed Saints Row IV. This game was way more fun than I expected. Good performance, hilarious story, great setting... a lot of fun. Didn't expect the game to be so rich in variety.
As the Stasis Linux beta is out, I played this point-and-click horror sci-fi adventure. Oh dear ;) Great detailed graphics. The puzzles are sometimes really tricky, and later in the game there is a situation... can't tell more about it. It was horrible. In this case the game does a great job ;) The gameplay performance is great, I only had one crash and got stuck twice. The second getting stuck unfortunately is shortly before the final, so there is no possibility to save after the situation and continue with a save from somewhere else. The Brotherhood devs provided me a save after the first stuck, so I could continue.
And there is one issue with the dialogs, which are mostly skipped. I guess most of the story is told via dialogs, but I could follow the story also through the PDA datalogs and typically for a point-and-click adventure, you can get further with trial and error ;)
A great game, especially if you like movies like Event Horizon and Pandorum.
Recently I started Tomb Raider. With this game I have mixed feelings. Performance is good on my machine, the graphics looks very nice. But the camera handling is driving me crazy. It's shaking more or less all the time, sometimes it's moved without me wanting to look in that direction, I want to have full control over the view with the mouse.
Then what happens to Lara is a bit ridiculous... she couldn't move like this with all her injuries. And they've overdone it with the quick-time-events... if there are three in a row and you fail at the third, you have to start at the first again. This gets quite annoying.
But as the game got quite good reviews and Feral did a good job, I'm going to continue ;)

Preordered it at https://www.gamesrocket.com/ [External Link], they give you a %20 discount at the moment, and you may find another %10 voucher somewhere (I got one from subscribing to their newsletter a while ago). So I got it for ~28% discounted.
Is Steam giving you an annoying error message on Ubuntu 16.04? Here's a solution

After doing the Upgrade on a Thinkpad E145, steam didn't start for me at all
Found on the net [External Link], that the system installed version and the steam runtime version of libstdc++ differs:
Steam started, but then I got the error mentioned in this article, so I installed the steam client from the Ubuntu repository, but the client again didn't start normally:
With the LD_PRELOAD it starts, but that's quite annoying. But hey, I got the old steam launcher icon back, woohoo... -.-
Guess I will stay a bit longer with 14.04 and 15.10 until these issues are solved.
