These brothers make some awesome games, I'll say that much. This is like a minimalistic stealth game inspired by Thief/DeusEx, and it's got a decent story so far. I find the maps surprisingly memorable and nicely laid out. And the music is fantastic, and meshes superbly well with the simplistic neon visuals.

I love this engine! There is a huge change between 1.0 and 1.1 all around. The syntax hinting and vastly-improved autocompletion are very handy, and there are more new features than you can shake a stick at! And good riddance to the purple UI.

I guess I'm slow at this game, because I'm already over 20 hours and haven't finished it yet. I've been stuck a couple of times, but wound up figuring out where to go. Mostly I'm exploring everywhere I can and backtracking a lot after every upgrade to see if I can get to new places at the markers I left on all of the maps.
I feel it's the best game I've played in a long time, and I'm so glad I didn't try waiting until the end of the year for a discounted price. It's worth the asking price and then some, for a huge Metroid fan such as myself.

Logitech F310 Gamepad Review On Linux

I have a bunch of gamepads*, but the one I am using now is the Nexus Gamepad [External Link] by ASUS. It took much messing around to get working, but once I did, I haven't looked back. I even traded my previous favorite Logitech F710 (wireless version of F310, with rumble) for a second Nexus Gamepad to a friend who couldn't make it useful on Windows. The receiver for the F710 has a pathetic range - not suitable for the tenfoot experience whatsoever, and the battery compartment makes it less comfortable to hold than the F310.

* - here is a partial list: Hori Gem Pad 3, InterAct / 3dfx Hammerhead FX, Logitech F310, Logitech F710, Xbox 360 Controller (clone, identical),
Nintendo Wii Classic Controller, Ouya Wireless Controller, PDP Rock Candy Wireless PS3 Controller, DualShock 3/SIXAXIS Controller... and more

WTF. They put out a beta for the first one, and everything... Now they're giving up entirely? WTF.
Removing from Steam Wishlist. Very disappointed in this. Guess I'll buy Victor Vran sooner than later.

If it can be the Castlevania to Axiom Verge's Metroid, then a lot of people will be super happy. I hope it's good, but I think I'm done Kickstarting promises that are too often broken.

In less than 5 minutes the game crashed back to the desktop for me. I submitted the bug report form it popped up. Hopefully they fix it. I have Axiom Verge and many others to play while they iron out their wrapper again.

I had pretty much no interest in this game, until now. This publisher sounds awesome, taking it into their hands like that. I don't know their reasoning, but I'm content to assume it's because they care and want it done correctly and quickly.
