I've played 4 hours of it over the past couple days. I'm really enjoying it. Didn't know what to expect when I bought it; the screenshots sold me, basically... I was thinking it'd be like Myst, but it's more like one of the CSI games, kinda. I like it, anyhow.

As someone else pointed out, since the overall user count continues to rise, perhaps the percentages going up or down from month to month really are not the best gauge of how Linux is doing. Maybe instead of saying Linux rises or Linux falls, we should look at the actual estimated user count every month, and base the fall / rise on the percentage of that. It seems plausible to me, without doing any math, that we may have been rising all along.

Quoting: minjLinux: we need games!Heh... Pretty much.
Devs: here you go.
Linux: too many game save folders!
Devs: first-world problems.
With the amount of games available it's gonna be folder soup in any case.It wouldn't solve the clutter problem, but if Game Stasis [External Link] had taken off (seems to be abandoned), a good backup solution would have existed. I'm not aware of anything similar.
Hence I would actually prefer ~/.local/share/games/$GAME_TITLE

It's not really a solution to the problem at hand, though.

Quoting: DrMcCoyCinnamon/Nemo does it as well. It started as a fork, yes, but still, something other than GNOME/Nautilus does support the .hidden file.Quoting: deBeauharnaisCreate a file named .hidden in the same folder than the unwanted folder.Except that is something only Nautilus (aka "GNOME Files", the GNOME file manager) does, nothing and no one else.
It's not really a solution to the problem at hand, though.

Quoting: fleskThat looks seriously cool. But... Ubisoft? On Linux!?Wouldn't be the first time [External Link]...
Quoting: HadBabitsReminds me a bit of Telsagrad (what with the red and blue elements), save for a lot of charm. :PExcept that Outland came out two and a half years before Teslagrad... And the red / blue stuff is basically Ikaruga's main mechanic, albeit different colors.

Can't believe it's been over 2 years since I Kickstarted this. It was my first, and I'm glad that it came through, even if it was quite a bit later than originally planned. Now I just need to find the time to put into it.

I love this game. Too bad about the 64-bit version not supporting Steam features, though.
