Quoting: slaapliedjeWow, I really wanted to play a Diablo like game, but bought this sort of foolishly, the menus don't even work right so couldn't even start a game. It's fairly buggered at this stage.
Strange, I've not heard of anyone having that problem.

If you haven't already and you have the time you should write a bug report on their forums Here [External Link] so that they can look into fixing it! :)

Quoting: Avehicle7887Is it my misunderstanding or the game requires you to login to play in Singleplayer?
It does currently but it won't at an undetermined point in the future.

Quoting: ShmerlLooks promising, and they plan GOG release too.
Last I heard they were considering it. I don't think they've committed to it yet.

Quoting: Avehicle7887For half a minute I liked what I saw especially with offline and LAN support (yay), that was until I got to this part (from their KS page):

So basically this will be like Diablo 3 with official Linux support, which is a nice thing however I feel it is badly executed due to their business decision.

I'd rather pay a hefty sum upfront and then purchase skins as DLC later.
Just curious, how does this affect you as a player (afaik you lose nothing by ignoring cosmetics)?

This is the same business model that was used by Guild Wars (b2p + cosmetics) which was fairly successful and I don't remember ever running into arguments against it at the time...

but we've supported it because we really appreciate how helpful and positive the Linux community has been with bug reports etc.
Proof that attitude can help garner game support in lieu of market share!

The action-RPG 'Last Epoch' has a huge new build out, plenty of new features

Huh, interesting thought that they might be blood patches, I figured those white patches were light reflection issues. The good news is that they're really only prevalent in the first 6 or so levels.

Might also be worth noting for people that may be interested that the Beta is scheduled to start in about a month (with cheaper access).

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive now has much better queue times for Danger Zone

Nice, queue time was the biggest issue with DZ for sure. I just ended up playing comp since there was a better queue:playtime ratio.

One of my favourite board games, except that I could never find anyone to play it with me. Pretty excited for an online version.

Quoting: TcheyQuite awesome move toward Linux, but why they're doing it ? I didn't read any explanation, unless i've missed them for some reason.
Likely it's to advertise and spread word for their patreon.
