I like the idea, but the visuals are uneven. The player is topdown flat (and i like that), but the monsters, trees etc, are with a perspective. I already don't like this type of camera in itself, but when it's mixed up it's worst.

I'm glad it's a success, because it gives Linux more support and traction, but i really don't understand the appeal for these devices, and the Deck itself. The first Gameboy, or the first NDS (the only portable machine i owned), was compact, fit in a good pocket for real, and had games designed for them, most of the time. Not just "PC games but not".

Here i only see a sub-PC, too small and too big at the same time. I'd never use it even if it was a present, i'm almost certain.

I'm really not the target for this... But still, nice for the happy ones !

I played it a lot in the early days, and it was un-perfect but really fun. Then, they changed different core systems, and again, and they locked more and more content behind time and money, and i stopped.

It could be a decent indie CPRG.

Combat system seems intriguing at first.
Arts is... not my taste, let say.
Combat system is quite terrible.
Game is very linear, it’s just one story with some side content.
Combat system is really awkward.
Race are mostly just skins without too much game effects.
Combat system may kill the game for many.

I see no interest about this game/project, beside being "open". I see no interest in clones in general. So much more can be done from the same prime idea.

Vintage Story, Colony Survival, Elsewhere... Yes !
