Vigilantes is great indeed, played it, showed it on video, talked about it on forum, but got little traction... Visual is not helping much, the color palett is kind of weird, i guess.
Rebel Cops is nice, but lacks some option (camera rotation, remove auto-tracking camera on action, easy zoom in action etc), and i find it extremely difficult ! Didn't manage yet to win the first mission after the tutorial, the one with the train and the timer. Also having only 3 saves per mission, having turn based quite slow paced, make the redoing again and again when you are as bad as i am, painful.

I'm absolutely no expert, and with my non-expert view, i'd think itchio is better for indie to launch or prelaunch, because less cut. Then when you get some traction from the first players (free advertisment from youtube, forum, twitter etc), and you have fixed the first annoying bugs or balance etc, you can better second launch on Steam and avoid the "Negativers", or part of them.
Or not.

Great game, i made a mod on it, it was fun to do, and at the time the dev was very helpful. Back then we were i think 4-5 people on the Discord. I don't know how it is today, didn't ply for a while.

Quoting: pbHaven't played it, but the concept does seem a lot like Creeper World, so not super unique. ;-)Here you build your turrets by placing little cubes in specific shapes, i really like it. Beware it can sometimes be very difficult, unless i'm bad, or both.

It's a nice game, i have it and played it a little via Proton a few months ago.
With this Linux build, via Linux, i launch the game, it runs (yeaaaah), but

- without gamepad or joystick or anything = impossible to move with mouse or keyboard, nothing happens, even in main menu. Impossible to quit the game, no Alt+F4 or anything, as the keyboard is like dead.
- with gamepad Xbox One USB : can play, no issue, but keyboard still not responsive at all
- starting without gamepad, then plug the gamepad, makes the gamepad active. Then i can play, no issue, but still keyboard dead.
Never had similar issue with any games before.

I was on Ubuntu XFCE for several years, and before that on dual boot with different distros, not knowing well what i was doing.
I'm on Manjaro XFCE for about 2 years now i think, and i don't regret. As a gamer, it may be the best option, it's the Linux with the very close to none issues, at least for me. Updated often, and stable at the same time.

Hello,
If i'm correct, the base game is free, with multiplayer and demo solo first campaign level.
To get more, i have to buy the "DLC" Complete Edition.
Now, there is a nice deal on the game via Steam :
Buy Geneshift (with DLC Included for Free)
WEEK LONG DEAL! Offer ends 9 September
Less than 8€
So i add it to my cart, and then i see this message :
Your account already owns some of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again. You can purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue.
But i only have the free version, as far as i know.
So, what did i miss ?
