Quoting: pbHaven't played it, but the concept does seem a lot like Creeper World, so not super unique. ;-)Here you build your turrets by placing little cubes in specific shapes, i really like it. Beware it can sometimes be very difficult, unless i'm bad, or both.

It's a nice game, i have it and played it a little via Proton a few months ago.
With this Linux build, via Linux, i launch the game, it runs (yeaaaah), but
https://steamcommunity.com/app/809440/discussions/1/1635292137569851723/ [External Link]
- without gamepad or joystick or anything = impossible to move with mouse or keyboard, nothing happens, even in main menu. Impossible to quit the game, no Alt+F4 or anything, as the keyboard is like dead.
- with gamepad Xbox One USB : can play, no issue, but keyboard still not responsive at all
- starting without gamepad, then plug the gamepad, makes the gamepad active. Then i can play, no issue, but still keyboard dead.
Never had similar issue with any games before.

I was on Ubuntu XFCE for several years, and before that on dual boot with different distros, not knowing well what i was doing.
I'm on Manjaro XFCE for about 2 years now i think, and i don't regret. As a gamer, it may be the best option, it's the Linux with the very close to none issues, at least for me. Updated often, and stable at the same time.

Hello,
If i'm correct, the base game is free, with multiplayer and demo solo first campaign level.
To get more, i have to buy the "DLC" Complete Edition.
Now, there is a nice deal on the game via Steam :
Buy Geneshift (with DLC Included for Free)
WEEK LONG DEAL! Offer ends 9 September
Less than 8€
So i add it to my cart, and then i see this message :
Your account already owns some of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again. You can purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue.
But i only have the free version, as far as i know.
So, what did i miss ?

I'm playing it too, with keyboard + mouse, no issue.
The game is great, i love the enemies, the bosses etc.
The GUI could use a big redo however, it's really ugly and not very handy, but well, it does the job, more or less.
Also, the bonus dropped on the field are not always clearly defined, what they do, how, when...
Anyway, a nice shooter.

Quoting: Liam DaweYepQuoting: TcheyComparing with Minecraft is quite missleading, i think.Depends how it's compared. In terms of style, yes they are very similar and it's not in any way misleading to say so. They're both survival type games but the gameplay does seem to be vastly different. Only the style was mentioned in comparison, nothing else.

I really enjoyed this game last time i played (between 1.8 and 1.9). I'm only waiting a few more updates to dig again.
It really is a "realistical" survival game, not a building game. Comparing with Minecraft is quite missleading, i think.
Also, the mod Neolithic is awesome, you should play with it.
