People who say mumble is better, you cant really compare those 2. Discord is not just a VoiceChat but also chat, gametracking, streamer mode(corrected) and other fun stuff.
Only issue i have with Discord is that its UI is not enough configurable, but i can live with that with the featureset it has. 1 application is better than to have multiple applications for different things in my book.

Quoting: GuestPerhaps nobody is using wine where those 2-3% stats are collected. Wine is bad for us in every area. Thinking it gives us more games is a dangerous illusion. It gives us more devs and publishers who count us as customers without the need to actually make games for GNU/Linux.
i think you are overreacting a bit. no way there's so many wine users. Also we cant blame wine for this, its amazing program that allows to make the switch from windows much smoother for many people.

steam has lower precentage because linux gaming is still not as popular as general linux usage. Due to limited amount of games and performance problems. And linux users in steam are still growing, just much less than Windows numbers.

Ok i fixed my font problems. It seems infinality was the cause here which isnt updated anymore and recently also harfbuzz update broke nvidia-settings, dockbarx, virtualbox and so on. older steam version worked with this but new update not. so i removed infinality and switched back to default fontconfig of arch, luckly its not terrible anymore.

i think we are growing in steam also, just slower than other OS's, steam userbase is rapidly growing specially the Asian side and this side of the planet sadly doesnt use linux that much afaik. That might explain why we dont see increase in precentage in steamHWSurvey. Also it seems distro hoppers or the ones who sometimes run steam through wine get the survey prompt more often.

Quoting: HexDSLDoes that mean it MAY ACTUALLY be playable! lol :P
it has been playable very long time :) its not brilliant with its performance, but lot better than many unity4.x based games. unity5.x games are running much better ofc.

Raft, a rather brilliant prototype game about being stuck in the middle of the ocean

yeah, idea is interesting, but as said its a prototype. theres so little audio-visual feedback in the game.

but i can see it being awesome with multiplayer, more content, more work on sounds and animations and so on.
