i still can't understand how is War Thunder best free game released in 2016? wasnt it released for linux back in 2014 even?
Also i don't get the Civ VI hype, but thats me, i never got into the Civ V.
Deus Ex indeed has really good graphics but sadly its pretty much unplayable on my setup. i cant tolerate those few places where it drops down to 25FPS.. no matter what graphics settings enabled.

those graphical glitches happen when steam-overlay is enabled.
i liked RymdResa much more. Thisone kind a too basic for my liking. Well it gets harder and harder i give it that....
It doesnt cost much in steam so if you into these types of games its cheap to get.
Made a Gameplay video also on the Launch day:

good thing i didnt thow money at them yet.
i can understand their decision though, it might be hard to keep testing and debugging for 3 different platforms if they could use that time to add more content.
hopefully they will port it later down the road though

Quoting: AimelaI'm curious, how was gaming in Linux before 2013? I only became aware that Linux was anything more than a CLI OS(as in, completely lacking any GUI elements) in the second half of 2013 and installed Ubuntu for the first time in October of that year, after Steam had officially started supporting linux.i switched to linux at the end of 2006. Luckily i was mostly just a World of Warcraft addict back in those days and it worked perfectly acceptable under wine. Played few other games that worked in wine also ofc and few native games like Nexuiz. In 2010 though i got Warhammer Online addiction, that was pretty bad under wine. but i mostly got through it, then came Minecraft and Humble Bundle (desura also) with good indie games and finally Steam came out and the ball started rolling even more. Here we are.
NVIDIA 378.09 beta driver released, adds OpenGL threaded optimizations by default and more

so it doesnt seem to work as expected yet

Quoting: GuestA little slower and introduced some issues. Planetary Annihilation: TITANS and Insurgency would hang for a second here and there. Reverted back to the 375.26 driver and everything went back to normal. Maybe a bit early for this one.i did not notice this, but i teste ARK Survival Evolved and it seemed to disable GL THREADED there, though when i forcly enable it i will get huge performance boost.
so it doesnt seem to work as expected yet

Manjaro holds back some updates and maintains their own repositories which can be problematic with AUR compatibility in some cases

Quoting: KeyrockHow does this compare to Manjaro (also Arch based)? Because, I'm quite happy with Manjaro (XFCE Edition).Antergos uses same repos as Arch afaik, so there will be less package conflicts with AUR
