looking forward to this (after finishing the witcher), but I find the whole drm post on the kickstarter a bit over the top, so you get a key which you can activate offline and thats it, personally I don't see that as DRM, more as a did you buy this game verify. What I worry about more is the fact that the linux download is called LOALinuxRC4.tar.bz2

got the witcher 1 for 1.99 on steam, ran straight out of the box on beta 5 of crossover, always wanted to play it :)

nice review, It really seems to lock you into agame / removes the outside world so to speak, I could not imagine playing something like Amnesia with it on.   A logical next step would be a headset for sound and your all plugged in :)

this morning by accident I clicked on the steam-wine icon and not the steam-linux icon and for the first time ever (and I had steam since half life 1 came out) I got the bloody survey.......... while running the wrong client!

The UK kickstarters, the fact it does not use amazon pay, I got a feeling that they doing worse then if they would have been on the US kickstarter.   For myself I rather not enter my CC info again somewhere, what I read in forum posts on other places about for example Satellite Reign confirms my feelings, buuut I could be wrong :)

It's crazy how many games are coming over now, people really are paying attention to Linux and it's great!

Very true, but in the long run it has to be profitable, we know from steam how many % is linux (sort of) and % mac, would be much more interesting to know how much % of sales is linux and mac, to get some sort of indication if people are buying, because if there are no sales this will blow over.
