Quoting: liamdaweHoly crap Linux is really getting some excellent games!
indeed, this this will become the biggest kickstarter in 1 day ever, more exited about this then any of the others I funded so far.

Chris Taylor comment [External Link] about Kickstarter Fatique is sort of blown out of the water by this.  Still sad they did not make it,  GPG deserved better.

actually as a none ubuntu user I don't care, sorry to sound harsh :)

Quoting: AnonI hope they actually release the first game on Steam for Linux. Also, no word on there being an actual Linux version.
So true, they ignoring the posts on steam forum and on their own, they got the linux build from HiB from 23-12-12 so why not post it ?  And no mention of linux on LoG2.... I will probably end up buying it and use Wine, just love the old DM games :)

Dreamfall:Chapters is Officially to be made available for Linux

@Cheeseness, I agree, don't like linux stretch goals, on the other side it's not a silly high amount, for a product this size I don't think 50k is over the top for extra Quality control/testing/hardware/etc.

and to be honest... the previous where so good, I won't let this spoil it for me this time :)

Death inc. RTS and Business Sim Indie Kickstarter

Quoting: HamishI think someone does not know what "medieval" actually means if they set the thing in the 17th century.

Would it not be more apt to be set the game in the 14th century? When the Black Death was actually occurring?
medieval is not mentioned on the kickstarter, so they did not set the thing in medieval 17th century :)

as for the plague, it hit Europe on and off from 14th into the 17th century so no issue there.

- they gone reach it easly for sure, bit sad linux is a stretch goal but 50k to Q&A a huge game like this on 2 platforms its not over doing it I think
