I had a blast with the tutorial and my first small maps, I would not dare to compete against the pro's as my lua and math skills are not that big, but very addictive little game cq challenge !

The Humble Weekly Sale

if Transistor had "linux" next to it I would go for the big package as that looks really really good.  But right now they just say [External Link]
We expect Transistor to be released in early 2014. We have not yet decided on which platform or platforms the game will be available for.
did not know about indiegamestand, just checked that... 900 sales on that vs 2600 on humble in that short time, bit sad :/

15 Mar 2013 at 6:48 pm UTC

I loved everything ultima back in the days and when I saw the kickstarter title I was like weeeeeeeeeee.... then saw the video and heard all the buzz words and how they where already making real life stuff we can buy....at the end I was still unsure if it was single, (massive)multi, coop..... sorry but no, hope I get proven wrong and its a must buy when it comes out but not now.

Legends of Aethereus an MMORPG in closed beta that's coming to Linux
13 Mar 2013 at 4:49 pm UTC

only sad part is that this beta 10 or build 10 has been available since end of December and none of the issues posted by tester in the linux forum since then have been addressed.  (probably the same for the windows build)

Bloom: Memories - One of a Kind Action Adventure / RPG
10 Mar 2013 at 7:07 am UTC

this is there 2nd try with this game, 1st run [External Link] they got 6.5k of the 150k they needed.  This time its going a bit better by the looks of it but will be a close call to reach the 50k mark, don't see 70k happening unless they got some good PR out

Torment: Tides of Numenera announced on Kickstarter
7 Mar 2013 at 4:55 pm UTC

Quoting: s_dThose replaying Planescape: Torment in Wine might be interested in checking out GemRB, an open-source re-implementation of Bioware's Infinity Engine on which the game was written.  Like ScummVM, it lets you play these games natively
reason I use wine is because I am not sure that all the good mods [External Link] work via gemrb, some are not needed as gemrb is better then the old infinity engine, but several add a lot of good stuff to the game, new quests, expanding quests, fixing them etc. etc.

As for the kickstarter, almost double in 2 days. scary.
