Quoting: "berarma, post: 7421, member: 131"EDIT: Forgot to mention 3D mouse free look doesn't work well in Legend of Grimrock, looking direction jumps randomly and it's almost frozen. Not important but I'd like to see it work.

OMG that is so wrong, trying to use free look in a dungeon master clone !!!

;) (just joking)

had a hard time to get Dungeon Defenders to even start, got a fatal IO server error which got solved by doing a
ln -s /bin/true /usr/bin/gnome-screensaver-command

but it still is far from perfect, fullscreen no go and a crash here and there is quiet common, so been looking and found this:

running as root/sudo a game........ sorry but.............

Legends of Aethereus Linux Beta

Glad you found a video :) I been playing with it last night and it looks identical on my machine as the video, the movement of the char feels a bit stiff still but that is about the worst I can find about the game, the voice acting is okay (heard better but also heard a lot worse).

THQ looking at possible Linux ports
16 Dec 2012 at 5:23 pm UTC

sorry to say, but won't happen on their old games. THQ is in enough financial problems as it is, they won't port their back catalogue to linux at a cost and knowing that they would have to give the linux version for free to those who bought the bundle (if they don't then they in for a big storm). At most a future game will be made using unity 4 or another linux compatible engine.

no idea why there suddenly are so many space start fighter sort of games, but Ensign-1 was still the first of this wave :)
