I'd be willing to bet some of these changes were probably the result of work they're doing on the Steam Deck's UIs. They probably thought, "Ya know, it'd be handy on the 64GB models particularly to be able to see how big a game is before you click install.", then someone else probably replied, "Actually, that'd be handy on Desktop too", and everyone probably looked at each other for a moment wondering why they only just thought of it.

Surprised there's no "Steam Deck Sale" planned. Maybe they will wait a year, make sure everyone who wants a Deck, has one, before they do the sale.

Loving the 4.0 update so far. Happily supporting this project via it's patron. I said 2 years ago and I still believe it, I think one day Godot will be 'the blender of game engines'. 4.0 seems like a good step towards that goal. On my wishlist now is a terrain editor, tools to manage streaming open world content in and out of memory more easily, and some more UI work. Hopefully by 5.0 all those will happen.

By the way the developer behind this tool, DavidoTek, has a Kofi page, [External Link] if you got some spare change to buy them a coffee. ;)

Hardly surprising. Statistics generally 'bounce around', it was highly unusual to have such a long run of continuous growth. Was very nice though! What's most important of course is 'the trend', and the trend right now is looking GREAT.
