You can view the manifest lists on gogdb. Games that use the crack (officially called wrapper) have both a SteamAPI.dll (or GhostAPI.dll or similar) and a Galaxy64.dll. There are a huge number of thread on GOG about it. Even developers using it as an excuse for missing Linux version, e.g. on the Dome Keeper sub-forum.

Quoting: ReyoldIs there a reason this seems to keep happening?
Yes, most releases are just the Steam version with GOG's Steam crack applied – that's what GOG recommends instead of a proper DRM-free release.. That crack has no Linux version.

Good news. GOG has managed to get the publisher to agree to a final 80% discount. It seems that they previously were only discounted by 75%.

I'm one of those that only realized they were sold on GOG when the news of the end came…

Quoting: Doktor-MandrakeIs there a good place to check when to know if a games about to be demister? I had no idea until I saw your post
Sometimes there is a stickied warning thread on GOG, sometimes they only post it on their semi-secret discord, and sometimes there is an announcement after the fact.

Kult's collection thread on GOG catalog removals [External Link] or Games At Risk of Being Removed from GOG's Catalog - Tracking Thread [External Link] can help. The first thread might be too late depending on GOG and the second thread has a lot of guesses.
