Quoting: benstor214Same goes to 4K-UltraHD textures that get pushed to your 800p handheld device (Steam Deck anyone?) for no reason.Or music in wav format. Even emulator packages sold on Steam (e.g. Disney Afternoon Collection) has that crap.

Quoting: KohriasAfter half a year they lift the block now. While I am happy to see this I have a hard time to be grateful.Be careful. We'll get other news sites publishing stories how Linux users are so ungrateful that they aren't celebrating that a company stops punishing them.

Quoting: EriWhich makes me think, would an antiglare tempered glass do the trick without having to replace the screen if you want the coat on the mid and low models?Probably, although I've read that they add a bit of blur and decrease the sensitivity of the touch screen (although I try to avoid using it as much as possible since removing fingerprints is not that much fun).

Quoting: kuhpunktI guess at this point it would be more fun to just buy all parts with a custom shell, sticks and screen and build it yourself from scratch. But you can't buy all the parts, right? The last time I checked there was no way to get the main board and – what I was trying to find out more about at that time – no trackpads/haptic motors.

Possible fix for a case where the On-Screen Keyboard could break controller input in games using the desktop overlay.I've had that bug, but I'm not switching from stable for a possible fix.

Quoting: sulixIn particular, some versions of FMOD detected Pulseaudio by running "pulseaudio --check".Excellent. That reminds me of some Visual Pinball tables that used ping to create a delay in VBS following a recommendation on stackoverflow.

Yes the story is lacking, but the shooting/looting/building mechanics and the settlement defense mini game is a lot of fun.
Some of the reviews on GOG seem to be due to wrong expectations. Anyone who played Skyrim before Fallout 4 knew what was coming: The focus is on the side quests – explicit or implicit ones.
And calling it garbage Fallout is difficult – what is Fallout? Fallout 1/2 have little in common with Tactics and all of them have little in common with 3 and NV – and even those have a large difference in quality of the main quests.
I've bought the game on Steam after a free weekend – see, demos get people to buy stuff – I probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise due to the misleading reviews.
I still haven't completed the main storyline, but most of the side quests. The main quests aren't that interesting and quite frankly after you have so much freedom with the side quests it's weird that you have to really choose a side to finish the game.

Quoting: DMJCEven the big boys like ID software don't bother supporting it anymore. That's a very weird statement since it seems to imply that this is a recent development. ID software stopped supporting native Linux before the release of Rage with John Carmack stating that wine support was getting good enough so that native release wouldn't be necessary anymore. Note: Rage was released 2011. Back then wine was not as good as it is now and the direct x translation dlls did not exist.
