It has been released on GOG. And in contrast to the current trend the release includes the Linux version.

Look at my Perpetual Motion Machine it runs forever without any additional energy and I can even power other things from it.

Quoting: liamdawePfft semantics, it doesn't require you to have Mono so it's still correct.Unless you compile it from source.

Spoiler, click me
Please ignore the motor that keeps it running.

Quoting: lqe5433It uses now 100% .net core? The changelog on GitHub gives the impression that they include the mono runtime in the Linux and Mac builds. So it should probably say “no system mono required“.

I thought about playing Dicey Dungeons, but I ended up playing HyperRogue.
Quoting: NanobangI've started playing Fallout: New Vegas using Steam Play. I've had some hangs on loading, which is a drag, but otherwise works well. Looks better than it did on my X360, which is the last time I played it, I think.(…)I don't think that the loading issues are caused by Steam Play. It's bound to be Bethesda programming – infinite loading times are a common problem.
The GOG 'Summer Sale Festival' is live with a ton of games discounted

That's the trouble with third party porting companies that act as a publisher at the same time. And than there's always the danger that the ports are abandoned when the porting house folds (remember Loki).
A quick look at some fun games & expansions released with Linux support in 2019 so far

A game that is not on the list that I'll definitely buy when they've got the most annoying bugs ironed out is “Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love”.

Quoting: no_information_hereI am glad that there is so much activity right now. However, I have to admit that there are very few of these that interest me. Maybe I am getting old. Sigh...Ditto. From the list above only “Slay the Spire” and “Pathway” interest me. “Dust” falls into the “sort of” category, because it seems to be less “Quake” and more “Unreal”, so I probably would not enjoy it. “Rise of Industry” is another “sort of”, because I don't enjoy the transport mechanism that it uses. I realize that I'm sounding like a broken record, but I'd rather play “OpenTTD”.

Jupiter Hell continues being a great combination of Doom and a roguelike, now with challenge modes

The problem is that the term roguelike became muddled because it is trendy to call everything a roguelike instead of roguelite.

Quoting: NanobangLiam, would you describe what qualities make this a roguelike?Do you know http://www.roguebasin.com/index.php?title=What_a_roguelike_is [External Link] and the Berlin interpretation?

Quoting: rea987(…)That's a good idea. Please feel free to create such a spreadsheet. :D
I know it's too much to ask but wouldn't a spreadsheet that compares features of those source ports and engine reimplementations as well as the original a good idea?

Quoting: MblackwellI don't believe movie playback is supported (you could hack them in in various ways but I'm not going to get into it). For the CD tracks you can rip them to FLAC or OGG at the very least.NBlood has move playback, but you have to extract them from the CD image included in the “previous” GOG version.
Fresh Supply has a TON of inaccuracies and bugs.

Quoting: officerniceHaven't played this since I was a kid... So... Should I buy the "old" Blood on Steam and put it into the nblood sourceport, or just wait for the port of the new one?NBlood is great. Caveat: On Linux the GUI does not have the INI selector, so you have to add “--ini CRYPTIC.INI” as command line argument to play the Cryptic Passage.
