It's a shame more studios don't opensource their old games the way id Software did before they were bought out and turned into another cog in the machine.

This is how good business is done. It's too bad the government doesn't operate like this. Most of our taxes are pissed away on things that will never help us, with no hope of return. Our children will be debt slaves to a broken system until they die in this ponzi scheme we call society.

The base Quake 2 game is so much better than the unofficial expansions that you're better off just playing through it again. The official expansions, however, packed in a quality level that's about 80% as good as what id released.
