Oh, I didn't even warm up Blender 3.3 well, and here's the next version :D
Blender is wonderful. Along with Natron, Krita, Inkscape, Gimp and Darktable, you get a whole suite of tools for creating graphics and more.
I will never understand why people still prefer to spend a lot of money on Adobe, for example, instead of supporting and using open-source solutions.

Dwarf Fortress arrives on Steam, works on Linux desktop and Steam Deck

Awesome!
Another funny and awesome thing is that, the game works like a charm on pure wine-staging without any tricks (I've got the game from itch.io, where you get DRM free, portable version of DF).
Just double click Dwarf Fortress.exe and play. Simple as that :D
And damn... this game is just too good. You really should give a link to itch.io in the article too, I think ;)

OpenTTD adds variable interface scaling in a fresh Beta

Quoting: KlaasThe last time I checked, you had to edit $HOME/.config/openttd/openttd.cfg to use TTF/OTF fonts – in the [misc] section, e.g.
Oh, I did that, but I forgot to give it path to font, haha xD Thank you!

Quoting: KlaasWith the built-in font and/or TTF?
I think built-in, is there option to change this? I mean, I know there are other fonts in addons menu, but these don't change size too. I even tried to change the size of fonts in .cfg file, but it doesn't work too.

VS is very good game, but it's not a new genre, how many claim.
Game called "Crimsonland" was probably first in the genre. I played it like a maniac in 2003 (it was re-released as a HD version on Steam in 2014).

PS
Okay, I see there was an article about this genre and Crimsonland is mentioned :) I thought, that people forgot about this game.

Quoting: cere4lMinetest is more of a ham sandwich where minecraft is a fullblown buffet.
To be honest - Minetest is more like a tool to create games (and not only games), than a game itself.
And even their page says: "An open source voxel game engine".
If you read deeper it says: "Minetest is not a game itself, but instead provides a Lua API which is used to create games and mods. This makes creation and customisation super easy. "
