Battle Group 2 was released for Linux this June, and it's a reasonably good little Linux game, so here are my thoughts on it.

The developers of DubWars noted last month that in the next update a Linux version is on the table. We love games that mix music into the gameplay and DubWars could be a winner.

Worms Clan Wars a reasonably high rated Worms game looks like it will come to Linux thanks to info taken from the excellent SteamDB.

Retrobooster has just released onto Steam and brings with it skill based old school gameplay as you pilot your ship through caves trying not to bounce off too many walls and explode, oh and it's bloody hard too.

We have good news for those of you who like action-adventure hack and slash games as we have a neat screenshot of Darksiders running on Linux!

To celebrate Mount & Blade: Warband being out of beta the developers have put on a free weekend for it. This means you can download and play the full version all weekend, and that's not all it's on sale for super cheap too!

Black Ice the excellent cyberpunk FPS game is now on Steam in the Early Access section and it's looking as good as ever.

Don't set your hopes too high yet folks as this doesn't yet include performance fixes, as this is a bug-fix only open beta for now. I am glad Virtual Programming decided to go down this road as it seems they are learning from past mistakes.

My spidey sense is tingling. Marvel Heroes 2015 a free to play MMO Action RPG looks like it will be coming to Linux thanks to info taken from the excellent SteamDB.

When I say weird in this case I really mean it. Cult Of The Wind has all players pretending to be aeroplanes and it's quite funny.

Hand of Fate is now in Steam's Early Access section for those of you willing to front some bucks to get it on the action. The game is described as a hybrid roguelike/action-RPG/deck builder and it looks rather pretty too.

Knight Squad is a fun looking multiplayer combat game that the developers say mixes old style Bomberman with aspects of Gauntlet and it looks good.

After a rather long delay Dustforce now joins the many Linux games available to install and play on Steam.

I have been following Halfway for quite some time now, and someone requested us to write an update on how they are progressing. Good timing as they just released some more information on the gorgeous looking turn based strategy game.

Fun little tidbit today folks as a developer of Payday 2 responded to a request post on the Steam forum asking for a Linux version of Payday 2.

A very cute looking game has been released for Linux on Steam titled "Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake" and it actually looks quite decent. It's another Cartoon Network game (the other was Powerpuff Girls) which is interesting to see such a big name support Linux again.

Another Source engine powered game plans to support Linux soon with a migration to a more updated version of Source. Dino D-Day is touted as being like Counter Strike only with Nazi troopers and dinosaurs. If that didn't peak your interest then I don't know what will.

Shovel Knight is an awesome looking love letter to 8-bit games that was funded on Kickstarter some time ago. It had a Linux stretch goal that was hit and the developers have now teased it running on Linux.

Door Kickers is the excellent squad based strategy and tactics game from KillHouse Games we have shown you a few times here. They have released a big update to push the game into beta and it's a good one.

Being in charge of humanity's last line of defense against an extraterrestrial threat is highly unlikely and if I were to do it I'm fairly sure we'd be doomed, but now I can try my hand at it in the safe environment of XCOM.
