Wyrmsun is an open source RTS game that released on Steam a while back, and it's now switched to being free.

Oh yes! Darkest Dungeon is now an instant buy for many I'm sure as it has arrived on Linux in Beta form. Lots of people have been waiting for this gothic roguelike turn-based RPG.

The 0 A.D. developers sent word out today that the packaging for alpha 20 has begun, and release candidate testing will happen soon. I've done some highlights of what's to come!

In their GDC presentation for this year, Paradox Development Studios has set a release date for their non-historical game. Those who dream of expanding their civilization among the stars can expect the game to be available May 9th.

Faeria is truly one not to miss out on, not only is it a good answer to not having Hearthstone on Linux, but it's also healing my wounds over Scrolls never officially coming to Linux and then getting shut down. The hook in Faeria is that you build the board as you play.

Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 is a pretty good looking real time strategy game from Great War Team and Publisher Best Way Soft. It has now managed to find its way onto Linux.

Knights and Merchants was originally a LinuxGamePublishing (RIP) title, and sadly the port source code must have gone with it. Topware Interactive now have a Linux beta available on Steam that uses Wine.

Could be sad news ahead for strategy fans, as the original Total War: WARHAMMER announcement listed SteamOS in the platform list, but their latest messages don't seem too confident.
