Three of the short stages in Greece went rather well for me. The last stage was just painful. It started with a huge crash, then I fell off the road around the middle, and to top it all off I took a stupid penalty right at the end. The first two stages weren't brilliant either.

I'm not sure trying to finish the league events early in the week was a good idea. I'm just too tired to concentrate properly on weeknights.

Went terribly badly for me also, lucky that Starving had troubles also.

S1: Wheel came loose from my table, crashed into trees.
S2: Spin
S3: Clean
S4: Flat tire on the last split, not huge amount of time lost i guess
S5: Went straight in one corner, crash into cars, reverse needed
S6: 10 sec for false start

edited: flat tire wasnt on the 5th stage end but 4th
Skully 14 Feb 2018
Wow I had a great 99% clean run. Thought I did really well. But both you and starving beat me while having all these issues.
Maybe I am being to careful. I admit I am scared as shit of getting a puncture now. I am going to need to step it up a bit :)

First Post updated. Next Up. UK.

Kid of sad that I missed Greece. It's my favorite.

Anyway, UK went fine. One crash on the third stage, a few close ones, lots of really small mistakes which add up.

Skully, I fell you. Clean runs and still getting beat by such huge margins is kind of disappointing but on the other having my simulated driver theoretically being alive in the real world at the end of an event is not bad either.

Two observations:

1. Manual windscreen wipers are stupid and made me panic once because I forgot that it's enabled and where it's mapped to
2. Changing the settings of a car really can make a difference. I like the Ford Fiesta much more with firm dampers and suspension, especially on icy roads.

The thing with clean runs is that its slower driving when you are more careful, i could do that also, but i want to push it on the limit and then mistakes happen more often :)

1. I have automatic wipers, didn't even know that you can set them to manual, have to investigate if i have some free buttons, on the locations i can use during driving.

2. Changing settings makes huge difference and depends on the car as well. I didn't enjoy Fiesta much, but then again driving styles are different or i didn't find a good setup for Fiesta. But now i'm too used to Hyundai that if i drive anything else from 2010 group they all feel too alien for me :D
Skully 21 Feb 2018
I used too love the Fiesta. But I find it feels too loose now. It makes me feel like I am going a lot faster than I really am.
I might change to one of the others.

I was meaning to join the next possible thing, but I was wondering if I could somehow join mid-season and collect DNFs with the rest of you guys for the remaining season?

its a long season, just join whenever you want to join, there are still many races to go. you just don't get points from the ones that have been driven already

Please do. This league is about fun, not winning. Missing a few races (or half a season) isn't such a big deal. :P

Just apply at [racenet](https://www.dirtgame.com/leagues/league/85340/gol-4fun) and one of us will accept you ASAP.

EDIT: Xpander is quicker at posting as well as driving.

After my horrible Germany runs, I had somewhat of a "comeback" in Greece. Back up to my normal so-so driving :)

Did some of my best driving in this Wales event, but I balanced it out with some spectacular crashes. Still think I got a decent result, we'll see how long it can go :D
Xpander 22 Feb 2018
Done with UK also. 4th stage was the killer for me :(
But seems something happened with Starving on the 5th stage. So he got DNF it seems

S1: Clean
S2: Crash into trees
S3: Clean
S4: 2 spins, both took a lot of time, narrow places and reverse was needed, i think about 25 sec lost there combined :(
S5: Clean
S6: Small trip to the fields.

Ha! Conservative driving ftw! :P

I still wonder where I'm leaving all those seconds. It's a shame that you can't export the replays and play them side-by-side. Makes me want to create my own rally sim.

@Skully: did you try firm dampers and suspension? I felt exactly the same but decided to stick to the car for the event and try to find some settings that are fine.

theres telemetry for online events, codemasters ones. i wish there was at least telemetry for league stuff also. would be nice to see indeed. yeah i could record my drives, but those are usually 10-15GB of size and im just lazy to setup my camera and stuff and probably just few persons watch it anyway...

and yeah. conservative driving saved you there, but i like to try and push, even if im at the lead :D i dunno, i try to get better every time, go faster etc, but mistakes happen :D

Wales would have been great for me if it wasn't for the second stage. I made some spectacularly stupid mistakes there, two of which led to penalties. Otherwise it went really well.

First post updated. Finland again. My absolute fav :)
Xpander 1 Mar 2018
Terrible Finland event for me. flat tires, rolls and crashes :(

S1: Clean, but with some super wide corners, close to crashing
S2: Crash into Telephone post, Lost the tire, luckily only in the last sector
S3: Clean
S4: Crash into pile of logs, Crash into forest with car upside down, reset to road +12 sec
S5: Flat tire in the middle of the track (caused by touching a stone)
S6: Roll, not much juice left in the car after all the crashes.
